He petty but to a reasonable extent, like when you have a class that doesn't miss a chance to mess with you every single chance they get, you kinda need a teacher like him to discipline the students. While Snape is petty, it's goes far beyond unreasonable more time than not, it nearly kills his some of his students most of which they never deserves it and his actions served no educational purpose. Kalego much to his chagrin actually treats his students rather fairly and was reasonable like when the misfit narrowly failed to get the Royal One, was willing to find alternate classroom because he admired the effort they put in getting the all the teachers signatures.

Also, just a thought, because Purson didn't react to it, but Kalego giving Iruma the advice to play like he writes a love letter implies that Kalego did write one himself. Last but not least, give it to Clara and Azz to have an actual sweet moment even though they still just talked about how awesome Iruma is. And just my opinion, Clara's name for Asmodeus (Andragoras) sounds way cooler than his actual name (Alice). Which I don't mind but it just shows, if Clara wants, she can come up with good names. Even if Azz isn't able to see the genius yet.

I think Kalego maybe even being in a one sided love is an interesting thought. There is the love interest among the teachers for him. So maybe there is some plane to develop this angle in the future. Especially considering that it could be connected with him always being so distant and not wanting any closer relationship to seemingly anyone. I know, Iruma is supposed to "just" be the pianist but you know Ameri will only look at him. Don't forget about the evidence of Kalego having a foot fetish. Keroli’s Chrome is leaking so much the past few episodes, I wonder if someone else will figure out she’s the a real Devi-dol Nee-san is getting the butterflies for real, Iruma charming Lilith with his own words is unexpected but still very much a traitor to men Pur-rrr, what was it again? Can’t believe the family actually made a commotion and inadvertently caused their son to stand out. If they’ve been covert for generations, then they shouldn’t have sent him to school. It’s a school, not a covert operations crash course

She's lucky the Misfit Class just rolls with everything to the point where they just accept that Keroli somehow has pull in the entertainment industry and enough disposable income to hire top tier sound and makeup artists. I guess her "Queen" performance last season may have convinced them. Lead really needs to step up unless he wants Elizabetta to join Iruma's Harem. Honestly I knew the family was going to be a problem when we saw all those students start noticing Purson because he wasn't putting in an effort to disappear (although it does imply the family was observing/stalking him too...). Purson is nothing more than a tool for the families' legacy to his father, so he may as well disappear on his dad too.

Have you ever had a friend who was only your friend because they were in the same friend group as you? Some who shared traits and interests with a friend of yours but was nothing like you? That’s essentially Clara and Azz with Iruma as their middle. But just because you wouldn’t be friends otherwise, doesn’t mean you can’t become closer friends. I personally see it as a potential extra foreshadowing of him becoming King... That's what the King does, influenciung, reshaping the devil world to their image... and Iruma is definitely showing the ability to do that in that smaller scale environment.

The Misfit Class wouldn't be the Misfit Class without Iruma, and Azz and Clara wouldn't be the people they are now without him. Friendship first name basis for the win! The biggest crime in this episode isn't just Purson's dad being a terrible dad it's Ameri not getting to witness Iruma dressed up and handing her a love letter on one knee! He had to do it to another woman! The only girl Lead is into!

An issue most class based shows have is they have far more characters than 13. Trying to have a consistent focus on like 20+ characters is difficult. Usually shows that focus on so many characters break up the characters into different groups that do independent stuff until clashing with other groups like Dead Mount Death Play. If you try to force that many characters into one group like a class, it usually ends up with several characters being forgotten or half baked. Like even some shows remove characters like Classroom of the Elite cutting like 6 or so characters. MHA the class has many kinda forgettable members and is trying to juggle too many non Class 1-A characters that some of the ones who even got focus feel underutilized like Iida. Assassination Classroom definitely didn't give equal focus on the entire class which sucks as several are more forgettable, but at least they focused primarily on the class even if a select few favorites. Iruma having a smaller focus definitely helped, but I think them giving constant arcs where everyone feels like they have a purpose or use and not just Iruma and his two best friends helps a whole lot. They also don't have too many exterior characters to focus heavily on, so more focus is put on the characters we do know and see.

Yep, I had a feeling Purson's family was gonna get involved. I'm sure his mom would be fine with him performing since she's the one who gave him the trumpet in the first place, but it looks like the dad is super against it.

Clara and Az's scenes were really nice today. I love how happy Clara was after Az called her by name for the first time and that she decided to do the same, only to find out she didn't remember his name 😆 That short musical segment in today's episode , especially Purson's solo , was so good! That short musical segment in today's episode , especially Purson's solo , was so good! I can't wait to hear the whole song at the festival; it's going to be amazing. The full performance is going to be SO PEAK! That little snippet was such a good appetiser; a way for the show to say “don’t worry, we’re in good hands!” Kalego's smirk and comment that Purson's dad should be happy that his son is so good at hiding made me laugh out loud . It’s a great subtle way of showing that, as much as he’s personally annoyed by the Misfits and lives tormenting them, Kalego’s 100% on their side. Purson wanted to play the trumpet with his class and Kalego was in full support of that. To the point where he stood up for Purson when his father called for him to be removed, was clearly hoping Purson wouldn’t listen to his father when he talked to him about dropping out and took personal pleasure in his father’s annoyance that be wouldn’t come straight home.

It's time for Clara and Azz to pour their guts out to each other! And by "guts," I mean every complaint they've had about each other built up over four seasons! They still get along like oil and water, but at least the one thing that can bring them together is their love for Iruma! The only reason they're friends in the first place! That's worth Azz FINALLY calling Clara by her first name! And Clara, having called him Azz-Azz for so long she's forgotten his actual name, calling him Asoragodo! Such beautiful friendship! Cue dance training montage! The Misfit Class is pouring everything they have into this and Keroli is pouring all her motivation and love for performing into getting the Misfit Class ready! And now it's finally time for the accompanying music. Look at Iruma and Purson showing up fully dressed up and Iruma getting on his knees in full fancy wear to hand Elizabetta a love letter! Nobody tell Ameri about this! Clara/Azz/Lead take it badly enough as is! Even Kalego finds it extremely extra! But it's all a prelude to Iruma and Purson delivering their version of "Lilith's Carpet" for THEIR version of Lilith: their precious, beautiful, and sexy Nee-san Elizabetta! It's so powerful it even spurs Elizabetta to start singing, transforming her into Lilith (complete with a gorgeous dress that exposes her cleavage) and makes the Misfit Class all break out into their dance roles! I think they nailed it! And no performance is complete without: costuming! Complete with Elizabetta in a dress! Purson in a veil to hide himself! And Kalego being that dad who goes shopping with his kids even though he obviously does not want to be there. I love how no one is batting an eye at Keroli somehow having all this money and connections in the entertainment industry she can use to enhance their performance at this point. Purson has become so entrenched in the performance and working together with his fellow Misfit Classmates that he's started to become more noticeable...so of course his father plans to take Purson out of Babyls because he has no intention of allowing his son to stand out in any way or go against the Purson Family creed. Of course, irony upon ironies, after withdrawing from school Purson runs away from his family too! You wanted your son to disappear, well he'll disappear on YOU! Better that than Kalego giving you the lightning Cerberus for insulting the Babyls educational program! Where would Purson disappear too? Obviously right there on the stage! Every member of the Misfit Class implores him to come back (if it were me I would've folded five seconds after Elizabetta's plea), but failing that they'll bring him back with their performances! They're going all out! Clara! Clara! Clara! (Su-ki-ma!) is Iruma actually pulling the Elizabetta route too? Does Lead even have a chance?

Of course Azz Andragoras and Clara's talk doesn't start well, but it ends really well for them. The taste of the song was excellent, I can't wait for them to fully perform it. Purson getting so into it that he doesn't notice his guard's down in the hall is a great touch, too bad his dad sucks (and shades of Hell's Paradise...) Kalego about to send Kerberos through the phone he's so committed to the job, leave it to Dali to smooth it over. I love how he slips Purson's missing status to the class as being more work for him, and how Iruma locks in for the second time this episode on thinking about what someone else desires. Iruma's gonna catch knives from Lead and Ameri if they ever see the Su-Ki-Ma though. And that gets us exactly through the end of Volume 18, which is as far as I've read since 19 should be out in print now too but I haven't seen a copy locally yet (;_;).

Hahahahaha, what an argument. The one topic they can agree on is Iruma, haha. He prefaced it with “aho”, but he actually called Clara by her first name! Ahahahaha, she’s called him “Azz-Azz” so long she forgot his real name. Shimmering sky! Handsome Iruma! God, imagine if Ameri was here listening to this. Ah, that’s important… Oh yeah, their song is sounding good so far. Can’t wait to watch the final version with the dancing too. Elizabetta “sore demo”! lol So true! CLARA! Purson’s smile is so precious. …uh-oh. Oh boy, Kalego’s pissed. Not right after he just had that precious smile… Soon.
