Familiars take a form that reflects their owner's personality, like how Kalego appears as an adorable ball of fluff because iruma's too pure. So of course Jazz's familiar takes a cute lil boy that even he can't resist giving affection to for long! But still with deceptively sticky lil paws! F for Lied. This is clearly the last time we'll ever see him after he got ROASTED ALIVE by Azz for DARING to expose Iruma to VULGAR FILTH .

God I love those 3 goobers. The 2 of them being the snack police, just hanging out, it's just such a great trio of best friends. I especially love Alice and Clara's interactions; he's always exasperated, but always caring and supportive, with Iruma as their core. The first arc was great too. Jazz wondering if he's actually super cute cracked me up. Also, he's right; Iruma just silently being in his locker was indeed creepy. All for the sake of snacking. Gluttony is truly Iruma's primary sin.

I love how Jazz's familiar is very much like him, but in its own unique way. It actually makes me wonder what type of influence Iruma will have on Kalego-sensei. Though maybe it doesn't work the same. Azz & Lead's conversation about not feeling normal feels really relatable. We can be so hyperfixated that we don't feel normal, as we can be overcritical of ourselves. According to others, we seem normal. While the desire to be normal is, in fact, normal. We have something that makes us unique and stands out. Many times we can overthink this, and what is more important is having confidence in ourselves. Of course Clara chooses to be a slime 😆.

I love how Jazz's familiar is very much like him, but in its own unique way. It actually makes me wonder what type of influence Iruma will have on Kalego-sensei. Though maybe it doesn't work the same. My guess is that it's more like, the ritual pick the familiar with the closest both in personality and proximity, and not necessarily changing their mind, only their body. If we think about it, Kalego-sensei have a surprisingly high amount of similarity with Iruma-kun... Kalego is VERY watchful and pay a lot of attention to his student, and he's able to pinpoint all their strenght and weakness, and make teaching plans to help them grow. He also seemed to always know where Purson is (or at least, the rough area). He also wants to protect every single students of Babyls. Iruma is VERY attentive to his friends and classmates. He was always the only other student able to find Purson, and was even able to recognize Naphula when she walked around without her cloak for the first time. He also wants to protect absolutely everyone. So yeah... Iruma is like, to me, a much more "honest" version of Kagelo-sensei. 😆

It takes a real chad to rob a girl just to flirt with her! But that's why Jazz is the bad boy of the Misfit Class! And of course he has the Familiar to match in his Split Wolf...who is an absolutely adorable and cute doggo! If Jazz thought he could Famiiar Train Supu into a vicious killing machine, he was barking up the wrong tree, though that magic, tightrope walking, and dancing performance could probably make them a LOT of money if Jazz capitalized on that! Obviously Jazz doesn't want anyone to know about his Familiar situation so of COURSE Iruma is hiding in a locker and finds out about it. He was only trying to avoid the "snack police" I mean Iruma Squad! But while Jazz is disappointed that his Split Wolf isn't the massive Chimera it's advertised as, or as majestic as some of the other Familiars, he's special in his own way just like Kalego and Clara's Familiar! And Supu represents all of Jazz's GOOD qualities! I love how they're adding Familiars to the Kalego eyecatch. And slowly but surely Supu IS evolving into his final form! But even now, he's still as much of an effective thief like his master! Like master, like Familiar indeed! Everything is coming up Lead! He's gotten to speak with Nee-san three times, he's about to get a new game, aaaaand he basically gets forcibly recruited into hanging out with Azz and gaming. Turns out young demons don't play fighting games, but Azz has to in order to properly game with Iruma! Azz is a prodigy who has always stood above others, but that means he's been isolated and doesn't know quite how to "socialize," but deep down he's just as much of a demon living his youth as everyone else and if Lead can see that, so can Azz-azz! Just...maybe don't let Azz know about the lewd stuff you've shown Iruma. Before Clara hijacks everything to have Iruma teach her how to play video games, Azz sends the Iruma Squad to an arcade! Where they do all the arcade stuff friends do at arcades, even taking a friendship trio Devikura! And we even get some VR gaming fun, complete with Clara getting virtually reincarnated...as a slime! There were no talking Devi-Burgers this go-around, but there's always next time! Su! Ki! Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma! Of COURSE Azz would just buy some VR boxes for his friends at his place! Next week: Iruma gets butler trained by Opera and the Misfit Class get drunk at their end-of-year party! But not with any alcohol! NO ALCOHOL!

Disclaimer: I've read the manga. Congratulations to those who caught that we can briefly see Demon King Iruma's future Thirteen Crowns in the pre-OP sequence now, that's pretty cool. Episode title is a bit of a mouthful. Jazz episode! Jazz did you rob them? Yeah, he robbed them. Absolute kleptomaniac. Which the demon girls think is hot, because of course they do. Jazz has a secret! His secret is that his familiar is an adorable Pomeranian. Oh my god look at how cute that thing is. Oh my god it can't reach the target Not to be dramatic, but I would die for Supu. Ahahahaha it's doing the dance Supu is extremely talented. That's not a ball. Ahahahaha Iruma's actually started putting on a few pounds. Good for him, he needs it. Lied's familiar has Kamina shades. lol Kalego So, yeah, familiars don't take on the form they have in nature, it's influenced by that, but also by the summoner's personality, which is why Kalego looks like that. And Jazz is, in fact, super cute. Did you see him laughing last season? Jazz is definitely not beating the cute allegations. Uh-oh, the Snack Police are here! How kind of Supu to hide Iruma's snacks. Lied episode! Lied is having a good day. Lied is no longer having a good day. Also, rare reference to Lied's parents. Azz you challenged the class gamer to a fighting game what were you expecting Azz is a good friend. Backstory time! The Asmodeuses are a prestigious and aristocratic family, and Azz was a prodigy. I do get the feeling that his upbringing was more David's or even his father's work than his mother's. Oh, I see. Azz is jealous of the Boku Bros. This is very wholesome. LIED NO Sorry, Lied, you walked right into that one. At least his advice worked! Clara no not the crane game Yeah, I imagine the line for VR Monster Hunter would be pretty long. Ahahaha Clara Sukima! Azz did you just buy three VR pods?

Half expected Furfur to show up with the segment title, but it was just a mass of fur instead. Cool to finally see some of the other familiars though, and easy to see why Jazz is keeping his on the down low. Oops, Iruma. lol Of course Supu's a thievish little guy, perfectly suited to their master (lord help us when we see Camui's in action...) Weird to see Lied basically bouncing through the halls without using his tail, but that joy is short-lived. "and even Nee-san" made me laugh. Oh, it's just a cross-promotion for Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games, lol. Ahh, arcade montage, love the Kuromu booths. Hey Azz, could you maybe hook a guy up with a BattleTech pod or three?

Throwing your pet outside and abandoning them because they don’t act how you want them to act is such a low-level scum act. Young Demons Don’t Play Fighting Games! Did someone say… IT Boy by infant without a trust fund (BBNO$)? Azz-azz is ✨𝓃ℴ𝓉 𝓁𝒾𝓀ℯ ℴ𝓉𝒽ℯ𝓇 𝑔𝒾𝓇𝓁𝓈🪭✨ I know that heart pose is common, but I had to pause to play Polar Opposites OP1. What a banger. I will always love when visual media show video games being played by the characters by them being inside the game as their avatars. No isekai. No transmigration. But a lot very fun. I liked the episode. Jazz and Azz-azz are both in the throes of feeling abnormal in some capacity, and they want to fit in. I'm curious about Azz-azz's childhood since his mother is quite a loving lady, so did Asmodeus put expectations onto himself as a kid that young, or was there some other catalyst? A nice episode, even if Azz still goes a bit overboard with all those VR sets 🤣 My favorite part of fantasy is fleshing out the different dynamics within the cast, so having Azz-azz and Lied interact was fun ☺️
