For a human, Ivan’s doing pretty well to not be instantly wrecked by Left and Right. Wouldn’t be particularly sad if it happened though but he seems to have information so he’ll live for now. The confused Home Depot equivalent employee on the night shift watching a guy pick up stone glue while talking to nothing at 3am. You know, I was assuming that there was a limit of one daemon pair per person but clearly the limit is my feeble mind and I’m just not thinking big enough compared to this guy pulling up with the night parade of a hundred demons. I know it’s night and her powers are weaker but getting close enough to Asa that she can blow your head clean off is a bold move. Let’s see if it pays off.

About having more than one contract, Ivan had talked about this in episode 13. He needed fake Asa with her disguise on as a hostage, and he could make a contract with her after killing Granny and making her a stray daemon, but it was Shokyo's incompatiblity with any other pair of daemons preventing him from doing that. So he just left Granny alive and took fake Asa. So it is much likely that if several pairs of daemons are compatible with each others, they can make contracts with a same master.

base don what both ths sword guy and the sister mentioned before. there some type of "compatibility rule" Sword guy mention he cant have more than one pair because his swords have a bad compatibility with other daemons. The siste rmention, she can make a contratc with Yin and Yang because Break is ok with it, hinting break is compatible and in this episode Sword guy mentions he want to kill Left because Left is not compatible with Seal. So the brother cant get Seal if he has a contract with Left. my guess is that you probably can get as many Daemons as you want, but you need to play Sudoku with compatibilities, the more you have the harder gets to find compatible ones

Not a bad theory tbh. My headcannon is that Daemons, regardless of strength, are a prideful bunch such that if someone is already paired, they dont't wanna join the already contracted Daemons because their needs wont be met and/or may be completely ignored. I personally think Gonzo got a really strong Daemon initially, beat the second one into submission, and then basically bullied his way to the amount that he has. He IS a mob boss, so it does fit with the personality. Idk, just a theory.

I'm confused about Right and Left. The dialogue plays them up to be some of the strongest daemons, protectors of a whole clan and the reason no one messed with the clan for years. Everyone is cautious with them. I think the strongest might be overselling it a bit. What they've been presented as so far is prison guards for the twins. Each of them has the ability to nullify either Break or Seal. I imagine their main value is in allowing the village to have full control over the twins, since whoever forms a contract with Left and Right can mop the floor with both twins despite them having absurd power. In that sense they are the strongest because they hard counter the two most OP daemons.

I agree that we need to see more of serious Asa, but personally, I find her bro-con side more annoying than funny. During and after the Kagemori mansion section, everything about Asa’s character has felt centered around fawning over her brother, and with the comedic framing instead of a more sentimental one (except for a few scenes), it quickly became grating. Asa’s bro-con antics are probably the only thing I don’t like about this show at this point. Bro-con shenanigans can be funny in the right setting and in moderation, but here they just don’t land for me, and they become too much quite fast. Basically, I want there to be more to her character than being a bro-con and the tragic backstory we got.

During and after the Kagemori mansion section, everything about Asa’s character has felt centered around fawning over her brother, and with the comedic framing instead of a more sentimental one (except for a few scenes), it quickly became grating. Exactly my problem, if anything the comedic framing devalues the sentimental angle IMO. Specially since many "bro-con jokes" outside of this show lean way more into the fetishist angle (like in Alya) so that also sours things even further for me.

Cue Ball was acting sus before. On the night of the Kagemori Clan raid, he killed the one person who could have given them info on the attack. Apparently, most of the others were captured alive specifically so they could be questioned, and Cue Ball was scolded for killing someone. In other words, the one person killed in that raid was the one person that could have spilled the beans. And Cue Ball was the one silencing the rat before it could squeak. It could still be a fake out... but I wouldn't be surprised if he's working for Shingo or some other faction. Don't forget, someone tipped off Grandpa about the warehouse showdown. Who apparently has contracts with a majority of hte deamons living at the mansion, as Right remakred that "it feels like the whole Kage Clan is on the move." Meaning, Cue Ball is cornering Asa at a time when the Mansion is least defended.
