> I think the Anime has found it’s rhythm now that the „set up“ for Rozemynes new live as a noble is out of the way. That said, Wilfried still manages to annoyingly intrude despite not technically being in the episode. You can just tell that Ferdinand saying that Wilfried's retainers should deal with his own shenanigans would likely end up backfiring and creating a whole drama storm that would probably negatively affect the concert in some way. Also, the new Gutenberg-wannabe is bloody annoying.

In a world so influenced by the gods, she sort of saw him as an idol and that he was so pretty that he was to her an idealized creature that was sort of beyond human. Don’t forget until now she only drew and painted images of the gods. To her Ferdy felt like a god. She wondered how was any human this beautiful??? She HAD to see him. And then she did. To her he was perfect, pure, holy, and while strong, still a gentle person because he seemed to her to be directly god blessed. For her it crosses over into their very active two-way religion. And not a spoiler, but a reminder this author is a massive fan of Chekhov’s gun. She deviously spoils and drips little seeds of what seems like casual world building throughout most of her books. If you’re a mystery reader how she executes all this is both delicious and diabolical. Even casual conversations end up having MASSIVE later meanings and while there’s things the anime has done that I’m not a huge fan of (AI for one), they have kept up the spirt of these little seeds scattered throughout. So even in (to me) what feels like rushed episodes to see the important parts mixed along with nothings has been wonderful. This entire episode in particular must have book readers (like me) chortling with glee! I’m waiting to do a full reread (yet again) after the season is over because it’s fun seeing what I remember and what they show.

Sadly, that is not unlike what the mother of Roman Polanski's SA victim thought when he asked to do a photo shoot with her child, at his residence. He's a powerful man, he has so much to lose for being thrown in jail, so why would he throw it away for my daughter? It's why she wasn't alarmed at the request and thought her daughter would be safe with this man. Sadly, she was wrong on pretty much all accounts. Polanski was arrested, yes, but was released on bail. When information leaked that the judge was going to nail his ass to the wall instead of giving him "special treatment," he fled the country the night before his trial would begin. Worst of all, he never lost his career. He still kept making movies, and even winning awards he would have to accept en absentia. All while a great many of his peers continue to lament the tyranny of the standing arrest warrant out for their 'friend' while calling for a lift on his exile. Hell, I even heard a very angry and sarcastic quote from some producer in Hollywood. "Oh... you are a *sex pest,* you have to go make movies in France!" Just... so disgusting. The tone of voice was bitter and dismissive, as he just truly did not care that Polanski *raped a child,* and see's a 'great' man being "banished to France" as worse than *raping a child.* TL:DR SA is about power, not lust. These predators exploit the vulnerable precisely because they can. That's the thrill: dominance. It's dangerous for anyone to misunderstand that. Also, fuck Hollywood for standing up for the *sex pest* while having no empathy for his victims.

If you remember the beginning of last season, Myne delivered a really outrageous blessing to her family and her closed associates. A blessing praying to every major god at once to help them provide their support. And this is a world where magic is real, and where blessing such as that are not attempted, because they need to much magic, an practically nobody can get them to work. But we saw the people being healed... so the blessing worked. Go back to that episode and listen to what she asked for!
