I think it's going to involve that bond between master and partner that the broken master spoke about. If they can still feel the suffering of their bonded partners that Beast Douche took from them, then the connection remains in tact. Which means they might be able to exploit that connection to interfere with Beast Douche's parasitic ascension. If all the defeated call out to the remnants of their partners, it might could force an opening for Gero/Piichi to exploit. And Kimie is going to be the catalyst for that.

Beast master has not learned the first lesson of Shounen Battle anime yet: If you get support from your friends/lover, you get a power boost. Though, I would say I kind of like the trope here since it works with the whole theme of wanting to just have a normal life and how "the one" can really make you a better/stronger person. I mean, Gero learned this exact lesson as well. Even his inner teacher told him that is the reason he can now withstand the triple dose. Also Beast Master, really? Hyakko, that pun was the best name you could come up with? I do wonder though, since he still used Byakko as base for it, if him saying that he only ever saw her as sacrifice is true. On that note, I hope we will get a bit more information about him. He seemed to want to change the whole class system of the beast master clan (unless it was all a lie which I doubt), but then why would he do the same thing with people like Arashiyama for example? Abusing his power to control them. It feels strange. Also Kinosaki getting the princess carry while Ushio gets sat on. I know this is the "Ushio-boost option" but still.

Poor Byakko lived a horrible life being a recluse and having her mother be abandoned by the rest of the clan only to become a tool for the Beast Master. I won't say for sure if he ever really cared for her or not but currently I am hoping for no because he is such a bastard I just want Gero to kill him and for her to have survived and find something to give her life meaning. Gero has been sparring all the villains for now but I hope he sees that the Beast Master is such a bastard that he needs to be put down permanently.

Honestly by his standards he seemed to genuinely care about her. He didn't act dissmive towards her death or sacrifice as he could have been if he never gave a @#$% about her. Although I genuinely wonder if the only reason she goes buck-naked in that bear suit is because she wanted to show off for him because her mom still wore clothes under the suit in the flashback. It would also explain the underboob maid outfit.

Yeah he definetly is nicer to her compared to everyone else but I see him as such a bastard that I don’t know if he could genuinely care for someone else. Her being naked I just assumed it’s fanservice but considering that her backstory showed she was a child when she met him and he doesn’t look that different from him now i’m assuming there’s a significant age gap and that alongside them meeting when she was a child makes me hope she isn’t doing it for that reason.

I thought the final battle was gonna be a 3v1 between Gero's group and Toushiro's boss form. I did not expect that to end with Gero's team getting wiped out off-screen. It turns out the final fight will be between Gero, who's been triple boosted and Toushiro's freaky transforming arm. And it looks like Gero is already winning. These other beast masters are pathetic. If the girl with the hamster is showing more guts than them, then they don't really deserve their titles. I'm really hoping Kimie will come up with something to escape from that prison.

They are probably all from branches that get similar treatment to Kimie's branch. They have also been locked in there for who knows how long. On top of all this, Kimie's cell-neighbour said that they could all feel their lifelong beast partners be slaughtered by the Beast Master. It's very understandable why they have no will to fight left.

Toushirou really just stood there and let Piichi answer the call lol. It's nice to know Piichi's girlfriend knows of the dangers he gets into and tries to help him in ways that she can, it must be nerve wracking for her.  Kinosaki trying to protect Gero was sweet.  I thought Naruko had the most fantastical ability, but Toushirou being able to transform his own body whenever he likes to whichever animal he likes takes the cake lol.

I just recently started this anime, binged it all last week, and can definitively say that this may be one of my favorite shows of all time. I think I avoided it because it looked like just another action anime, but seeing the comedy tag on it got me curious. I think in every episode, at least once, I have said - out loud - 'what the fuck is even going on here?'. (In a good way.) This episode is no exception. That cute recap from Mai, Water Master blapping a bunch of giant walrus(es?), Piichi getting - and taking - a call from his GF while getting his ass kicked, only for it to fill him with the Power of Love (tm Huey Lewis) to kill Discount Claire and Gero triple dosing because he wants a wife (despite having a perfectly good one with Mai, but that's a discussion for a different day), (edit) and Beast Master listing every damned animal whose blood he has! Also, I cannot get over those goddamned hamsters being so goddamned cute. Anyway, another 10/10 episode.

Waiter, I think there was something in my soup! Oh damn, they're going to play with our feels again, I know it! Damn, they're really powering through this! L-Lewd (nsfw?) Bridal carry! (that counts, right?) And another! So many scenes from this episode made me think of either Killing Bites, or Gleipnir! (Season 2 when?) He's looking for something big and heavy... Kinosaki's dick, perhaps? S-Sure, huh... Do you play chess? The ultimate showdown! Master assassins, master martial artist/knife fighter, and... A marriage swindler!

Geeze what a fucking great day for anime. I watch 5 different shows including this one and all of today's episodes were certified great. Piichi thinking about turning Byako into a new treat at the cafe, dude so locked in. Especially when he's punching someone with an arm he took from them... The power of love letting Gero use triple dose, and somehow it's going to save Kime from the thing on her neck so she can hamster dance all over the Beast Master's ass.

I have one criticism for the series especially in recent episodes and it's the action. The series has had a lot of action be offscreene'd or had it be very short but this arc and these last 2 episodes have been the most blatant and having the Beast Master beat Pichii, Ushio and Gero offscreen is just disappointing. This series is a mix of romance, comedy and action so it isn't a pure action series and probably doesn't have the budget or staff to handle these action scenes like other action shonens but I do wish some of these action scenes weren't offscreened and were longer (this is assuming they don't get offscreened in the manga too. if they are and that's the reason why they are also offscreened in the anime, that's disappointing). It's not a dealbreaker for me I still love the series, I just say this because I want it to be as good as possible.

Yeah..it really threw me off. Not sure if the source material is shitty or they just didn’t adapt it well for this episode but..yeah. Also, the ass pull of beast master saying he “wants to change the class system” but that literally contradicts everything he’s been doing until now: actively shitting on the lower branches and seemingly embracing the class system….like what??? So what is he wanting to change since he seems to enforce the class system and embrace it???

What's a cute and easygoing marriage swindler like Kinosaki doing on an island filled with deadly beast masters? Wasn't he just trying to get Gero married!? But luckily he's with Piichi who is basically speedrunning through the island. Byakko comes from the line of the Karate Bear lineage, Masters who wielded animal suits instead of partnering with them, but that made them ostracized from the Beast Masters to the point where her mother (who as it happens wore the suit WITH her clothes still on) had to bleed to death in front of her daughters' eyes because no one would treat her. In fact she died while Byakko was desperately trying to get SOMEONE to treat her. It's no wonder Byakko, broken as she was, would be so taken by Toshiro who was there to comfort her and share her resentment towards the Beast Clans. Of course her loyalty to Toshiro...is not more effective than Piichi's sheer casual freak of nature power and how much he thinks about running his cafe with his girlfriend. But she still delayed long enough for Toshiro to finish her upgrade for: The Franken Beast Byakko! And getting carried by him while she's naked and put into the suit must be a dream come true for her! Meanwhile Ushio and Gero are fighting giant walruses...who don't stand a chance but they were good at aura farming, if nothing else! This might not be a fight Piichi can win, especially when so much animal AND Master blood (including his own) has been injected into Byakko meaning it can read his every move. Not even wielding animal bones as weapons might be able to make a difference. But when Piichi is seemingly down for the count, a call from his girlfriend Marin about how she wants to see some concerts with him is enough to give him a heavy dose of second wind energy. Because that's the only way Marin, who is fully aware of what's going on and how much danger he's in, can express her feelings and desire for him to make it out of this so they can be together. And Toshiro NEVER should have insulted her! Welp, Byakko got donuted with the power of animal bone armor Piichi, but even if she's going out, Hyakko is going to go out giving every last bit of herself to her beloved master...so Toshiro can absorb her blood and the power of the ENTIRE animal kingdom to become a true king of beasts. On the bright side, Gero and Ushio are there! Gero princess carries Kinosaki AGAIN! Aaaaand now they're all down. So much for this team-up. Arashiyama trying to unite all the other imprisoned masters to break out and fight back is bold of her, even if they've all given up because their animal partners are dead and are embracing the end...but even if a snake collar is choking her to death, Arashiyama will NOT give up! Just like Kinosaki, powerless as he is, won't give up without trying to protect Gero and Gero will even Triple Dose himself to fight back. But he's gained too much to live for, too many top-tier ladies he can possibly marry, to give up now.

Byakko's backstory was brief but did just enough in making us feel sorry for her, prior to Piichi instantly killing her off... or did he? Turns out Beast Master created that chimera just for her so she could "wear" it and use it to fight Piichi properly. Shame Piichi is such an OP monster. He's the MC of the author's previous one-shot manga (titled Hyper Hard Special Mission), after all. So Piichi gets a lot of love from the author that not even Gero could defeat him. Poor Byakko still manages to make herself useful to Beast Master by offering her blood to him so he could enter his ultimate form. How is Gero going to survive being forced to use Triple Dosage and possibly dying from overdose?
