I just love how Kimie's technique names are all based on stars. The Star Map and Black Hole techniques are both great utility techniques. Her kit is more about supporting other Masters. She's clearly not supposed to be working alone. God, Toshiro really just had to go full-on crazed villain on Gero. It's gonna be so fucking satisfying when we reach the inevitable showdown between these two later on. We finally get to see Ushio again and, my god, she looks amazing. While I do love her big, bulky suit, I'm glad Gero cured her so now we can see her in all of her glory. I guess we can thank Mei for calling her in as their backup. Gero and Ushio's techniques are definitely a perfect match since Ushio can turn Gero's poison into mist and scatter it around a larger area. Glad to see that Ushio isn't immune to Gero's rizz. There's nothing cuter than a serious tomboy blushing And we finally get to see why Kimie is a huge fan of Gero. If this were a regular rom-com anime, would this mean Kimie fills the childhood-friend role? 😆 Kimie becoming a Rat Master again! Seeing her try to organize a breakout using her Hammy-Rat Network was pretty awesome. Glad to see Kimie fighting back instead of just being captured for the rest of the arc.

Even her use of her ability banks on her ability to use hamsters (and even rats) together as a team in creative ways which really doubles down on how great she is in a support role. There's something to be said for how amazing a woman looks in a skintight outfit, and Ushio really emphasizes that (Dat ass). It's as effective as her water abilities and business acumen! Arashiyama is the long lost childhood friend! If I had a nickel for every action romance show where a childhood friend stans the guy they love airing this season, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's fun it happened twice.

Water Master's ears being so red was so funny and adorable, so looks has two master routes and two non master routes available to him at the moment. Kinosaki has a very good eye.  Gero eating Arashiyama's cooking is such a big moment for him, I'm glad he was able to resist his father's teachings and did what he wanted in the moment. Just more evidence of Gero being a very sweet guy.  I was not expecting the Beast Master to just appear in front of Gero like that, he even revealed what he wants from him too.  Arashiyama's network ability is so cool, I'm excited to see her getting everyone to take action. The guy next to her definitely seems like he's going to be a very powerful individual, even though he's the type to try not bring attention to himself.

And they called Arashiyama useless when they have a damn Koala and Sloth squad. I doubt either of them is more useful than a hamster especially with all the "Increments" she has. Like making a map, cooking and even networking with rats. What else do you need? I also find it funny how Gero has to fight for his life on one side of the island while Kinosaki and Piichi are just casually riding a rhinoceros on the other. Talk about Gero being a knight on a white horse when that description fits them better now. But Kinosaki has to watch out. Arashiyama is pulling all the strings to get the title of best girl. A backstory involving Gero AND being able to cure him from his fear of eating what others cook. Or at least what Arashiyama cooks. Now if that isn't a marriage goal, I don't know what is. In general though, I want to say here again that while the stories aren't super deep, I appreciate that they are all family related in a different way. Like Himekawa was about having no family at all. Even the adopted father didn't care about her, just having an heir (like with Gero). Shiori's story was about the question if she is worthy of becoming the heir in the first place because she doesn't feel she fits. And now Arashiyama is about being born into a family that not only treats you badly but also doesn't even appreciate your abilities since they don't fit what they consider strong. I still hope we get at least one episode at the end, where we can see how they are planning to evolve the relationships with Gero. Like, will they be going on a second date and how might Gero's feelings change?

First you had her thighs, and now you want her help? Some people always want more! Oh damn, she does have actual powers? Ok, not the most useful battle ability, but still a power! Her real power is these cute little fangs anyway. And her thighs I mean, he's an anime character so it's probably true! She poured her love into it! (Hopefully she only poured her love into it, and not like, hamster spit or something) My man, you JUST tasted her thighs, you can't say that any other food topped that! (Ok I have my 3 mandatory thighs comment, won't talk about her thighs at least until the next episode!) He's trying to use logic in an anime! Arrest him! So Hamstergirl wants to lead a massive prison break! Are you up to smash -ing up the place? Oh... Sure we could do that.

Kinosaki correctly guessed that Water Master Ushio is a tsundere who has already fallen for Gero when hiring her as a backup plan, or she wouldn't have easily agreed when she's always been emphasizing cost effectiveness in taking on jobs. As far as Kinosaki's concerned, the more girls in Gero's harem, the better for his chances of getting married, after all. Speaking of falling for Gero, turns out Arashiyama has already fallen for him years ago when he saved her, even though it was just a by-product of him taking out that gang. Arashiyama shows her Hamster Master skills are anything but useless when she manages to use the rats in Beast Master's prison ventilation as a communication network to talk to the other inmates in busting out.
