Leon really did have a bad time in the game timeline. I imagine he's probably not going to be Pride's fiance for long this time around, no real reason for him to still be marrying her if they're about to go set him back up as the proper Crown Prince of his own country. It was kind of dumb of Pride to not warn him about his brothers being a potential threat. I have to wonder why Leon felt so strongly that his feelings of love towards his people were inappropriate, maybe that was also manipulation by his brothers?

Just when you think you've seen all the depraved and merciless things the original Pride could do...stringing up all the commonfolk that Leon spent time with while ignoring her so she can torture them in front of him and force him to kill them to prove his "love" to her and loyalty to his nation, lest Pride declare war on the Anemone kingdom, is pretty high up there. And she was enjoying it so, so much. But currently Leon is nearly passed out drunk in a pub, having "paid" for everyone to revel and enjoy themselves. Probably the only time it's bad getting fawned on by two ladies at the same time is when it means getting the countries' crown prince exposed as a drunkard. Luckily, Val is there to provide backup! He was always Prides' insurance policy to keep Leon safe! Yeah Val, maybe don't mention you were involved in human trafficking around the children? Pride recognizes from her game memories how Leon's brothers were behind everything, his womanizing reputation, his near reputation destroying behavior, and they preyed on his trust for them to literally drug their own brother to ruin him! But now it's not Tiara that's Leon's salvation, but a pissed off Pride! Leon can't believe his brothers would do this to him, and frankly he can't imagine exposing them because he doesn't think he's worthy to be king...but Pride knows his one true love is the people of his nation he adores and cherishes. No one loves this country and its people like he does, and it's time for him to realize that those feelings aren't ego or narcissism but pure, genuine, love. And in validating that love, Pride makes Leon realize what he has to do with Pride and co's aid. (Although while he probably wasn't genuinely in love with Pride and had no intention of ever leaving the Anemone kingdom...it would not surprise me if this made him fall for Pride!)

I was wondering why Val didn't intervene sooner, he was too busy drinking until the very moment lol.  I'm glad Leon finally go to let out what he truly desired and that Pride has helped him clear his name to some people closest to her. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll deal with the brothers.  I think this every time we get see what happens in the game with the original Pride but she is so brutal, the way she made Leon involved in the deaths of those citizens was crazy. And to make matters worse, she makes him execute them, that's horrifying especially knowing how much he loves his people.

Damn, evil Pride was so unhinged, and yet so hot. Anyway, the way Val rescued Leon from that bar was so cool, and as expected, Homer and Erwin were just jealous of the fact that Leon was not only the one first in the line of succession but also hated the fact he was so beloved not only by the people, but by the king himself. I love how pissed Pride became when she remembered their role in Leon's route, but damn, those two assholes sure were working on making Leon miserable for a while now by making him even think that his loves for his people was equal to narcissism. Well, good thing that thanks to Pride, he no longer has to feel ashamed for that. I can't wait to see what will be the downfall those two will get because of their conspiracy.

Nah Leon is actually the fucking GOAT. That's a true goddamn king right there. Even though he's suffering alone, he's still doing his best for the kingdom. Staying strong even though you're suffering so much and everyone doesn't trust you anymore. That's crazy. This makes me hate the brother SOOOOOO much. Now I understand why Pride was so upset. How can you treat someone like this? ESPECIALLY to someone like LEON!?!? It makes me so upset because the anime made Leon look like a no good womanizer because of his dumbass brothers and it WORKED. I genuinely thought he wasn't that great at first. Heck, even Stale (and the knight with the white hair. I forgot his name lol) thought he was no good  So seeing his TRUE character and all that he's done for the kingdom?  Wow. Just... Huge respect for Leon. Them brothers gotta go. Like seriously. And it hurts me so much, because look at how afraid he was of his true feelings. Shit just hurts man. They tried to change him, lied to him, gaslight him about what he was feeling and doing was wrong. This episode was really good. He'd make for a great king. #JUSTICEFORLEON!!!!!!!
