I really like the implication that Alicia turned into a small rat because her trail was about confronting her feelings of inferiority and her doubts I suppose crests are suppose to be blue and Vordin’s influence turns them purple-ish, anyway, considering the amount of painful shit Alicia goes through on a regular basis an ability that let her turn pain into power is perfect

I like what the story is doing with Alicia, the dark fantasy angle her initial goal/trope of slaying the dark beasts lords brutally deconstructed along with her body at the first attempt. But the story is also slowly reconstructing what it means to be a hero, by having her still pursuing the hero's journey in her own way. And fingers crossed her story will be even more epic.

Though the hero who killed the last batch would use power of all the books I presume. And now with Alicia going through book 1 I guess narratively it makes sense that she'll eventually be the new hero to get power of the four books.

Other than Vordin, Clevatess seems to be the most combat-oriented of the Dark Lords. That one dude is a hivemind parasite and Zavthier is an illusionist. Clevatess is likely going to get a wake-up call when he has to play the vanguard for their little alliance.

One of the best parts about this show is how ostensibly there is no tension and yet there IS always tension. Clevatess at any moment in the show could have gone super saiyan and won whatever his immediate struggle was. But because he's trying to keep his identity a secret for Luna, there's still an element of "oh no maybe he won't win!" Based on this episode, Vordin would absolutely win a 1v1, so that's also a nice layer hanging over everything going forward too.
この作品の魅力の一つは、表面上は緊張感がないように見えて、実は常に緊張感が存在するという点だな。クレバテスは物語のどの瞬間でも、スーパーサイヤ人化して目の前の苦境を乗り越えられたはずだ。だが、ルナのために正体を隠そうとしているからこそ、「もしかしたら勝てないかも」という要素が残っている。今回のエピソードを踏まえると、ヴォルディンは1対1なら間違いなく勝つだろう。これからの展開に、もう一つの面白い伏線を張っているという考察ができるな。考察くん
