I won't directly answer this question. I'll just remind everyone that the season started with Alicia being ripped to pieces by Clevatess. Who then went on a rampage, returned, and then decided to resurrect her rotting body simply because she had tits he wanted to make use of. Like, out of all the reasons Clevatess could have had for resurrecting her "show me your tits" had to be pretty "demoralizing," all the more so because Alicia's breasts weren't even 'useful' for him. So she was killed, resurrected, humiliated for pretty much no reason. Then made to serve the one she vowed from the bottom of her heart to defeat, not just for herself, but the dream of all humanity. It's honestly pretty damn impressive she still sane. Naie's had it rough, but at least she's still alive.

I'm more inclined to believe he senses something fishy in the prophecy and Books of Toah. All of this feels so very... structured. Like there is a hand at play putting pieces on the board. There was a hint of this, at the beginning of the episode, where Clevatess was just placed on his mountain, fully formed. The Western Lord mentioned she was the oldest of the current crop, and the others were all replacements of their predecessors. If the others are like Clevatess, then they were just... kinda... summoned from the Ether and assigned a role. But why? And from whom? What entity set up this cruel game and it's rules? Why box in "humanity" and assign gatekeepers? Why give them a "key" to escape? What's beyond the horizon? Vorden could just... turn around, but the other Demon Lords mentioned they are more or less bound to their territories. They need proxies to keep pushing outwards and get to the bottom of all this.

Eh... Alicia did manage to damage Clevatess. That and she was the only clever one of the bunch that could predict and read his attack patterns enough to land that blow. The Hidens kept referencing how the Regalia get stronger over time, as either the Forge gets stronger or their craft improves. It's not impossible for humans to ever kill the Dark Beasts at this rate, but their progress is so incremental that Clevatess's solution, "kill the ants before they stop being ants" is the most likely outcome. However, most of that talk from Drell was that of a broken, petty man that couldn't reckon with his own inadequacies. Alicia's father was better than him, and that alone was a bitter pill for Drell to swallow. Seeing Vordin after he killed a dragon just... kinda... broke Drell. Alicia, meanwhile, hasn't given up her spirit even after dying to Clevatess. That's why she's the Hero and Drell was just a whiny b!tch.

If he bleeds, he can die. And Alicia "bled" Clevatess. The spirit of humanity, to never give up, to always keep fighting, to always keep improving, is what spurred Clevatess to wipe out humanity. It was only a matter of time before a better Alicia with a better weapon... worse, a team of them, showed up to seriously threaten Clevatess. Hence why he decided it was either genocide or be overtaken. Because again, if they can bleed him, they can (eventually) kill him.

Poor Alicia, forced to go back to her regular “Can’t catch a fucking break” schedule To think that a lot of people thought the show would become something else because of the school arc, but in the previous episode and this one we had so many new things and developments, like Alicia locked up in the trial world , Hero Legend , two other Lords of Dark Beasts, Eslinn wanting to take Luna Mountain ... I can't wait to see what more the next episodes will bring for Alicia , Klen , and the others (especially for Naie, because her reactions are hilarious , hahaha).

This. The other two Lords were using "tricks" to escape their territory. The Western and Eastern Lords each used a different trick to possess a follower of theirs. Then the Western Lord mentiond that Vordin is doing something similar with an Ichor Body. With that comment about not being able to leave their domains, Clevy-chan has to be using some type of loophole to project himself like the others. And Alicia is probably his 'anchor.'

You guys are taking the domain thing too literally. Clevatess said last season that his domain would be under risk from invaders and rivals it became public that he left his domain. There's no reason to assume the other lords can't leave their domain, they probably just think it's not worth the risk to actually leave instead of acting through agents and the eastern lord is probably under the assumption that he managed to duplicate himself somehow or managed to defend his territory despite his absence.

I’m starting to think that Vordin is raising himself an army of super soldiers. I think Vordin wants to create the Hero himself and it seems you need each book in order to do so. That's why he was after all the books – we know one makes Regalia and another seems to grant magic (not directly mentioned in the legend but I think it's safe to say that's the power it mentions), so getting all of them would grant someone incredible power. Why, I don't know. Perhaps he wants all the other Dark Beast Lords killed? And figures someone under his control with the proper power could do that while keeping him alive.

A meeting with 3 of the Lords of Dark Beast huh? Let’s see what we got: -A big dog-like creature with 7 to 8 tails/tendrils -A tall snake-like “lady” with wings -The smallest Dark parasitic-like creature/beast that can be in people’s or beasts brains -And a big fire Dragon Quite a beast cast I’ll say. My observations aside, Naie being more informative and less of a comic relief was nice to see and Alicia needs a vacation after this Academy trip because she can’t catch a break.

Someone else feel free to correct me, but as I understood it, I think it's just the parasite that can't leave their domain in a literal sense. I think the other 3 can't leave because if they do, someone would invade if they find out (as we see in this ep). This was Clevatess's reason for wanting to hide that he left his territory back in S1. As for the parasite/hivemind, I'm assuming it's because it's probably a stationary beast similar to other hivemind species, fictional or not.

Can you provide the time stamp so we can rewatch it? It could be "can't" in that it's just used interchangeably with "it would have consequences if they do." Like if someone said "the president can't nuke Florida." Well, he technically can...it would just be insane to do. Again, I obviously don't speak Japanese, but unless it was explicitly stated they physically / literally cannot, then we can assume that's not true since Clevatess is obviously able to.
