You know what that's a good point. The lords of the dark beasts are "others" they are not humans so they shouldn't act like humans. Like the Children of Time series by Adrian Tchaikovsky in a way. Check the intro. You can see her doing a magic punch. I saw it a couple episodes back and was like "no shot she's becoming a furry" lol. Then watched it again because despite being such a short part of the intro (right after she naruto runs) the animation and transitions are incredibly clean and well animated. Color me impressed.

So uh, apparently no one told Clevatess that in a story like this things are supposed to build up slowly. Reveal gradually. Not: "Build a giant F You tower! Come at me bro!" I really like shows like this and Deamons of the Shadow Realm where the MC isn't content on just waiting for the plot to happen. They take the most direct route to what they want.

I'm glad when a series knows how to keep their characters "in character" as it perfectly fits how Cleavatess thinks being an impatient Dark Beast since he did similar to Hiden back in the beginning to instantly retaliate after their attack. Also nice to see how contrasted that is with the other Dark Beasts who clearly do things differently just by their own thinking and planning.

Makes me think Vordain wasn't actually all that powerful - he was a coward, waiting for the true hero to wear himself out, before attacking sneakily or using some kind of trick or trap. Apparently very few if any other powerful Beasts survived from those days, and even Clevatess' predecessors died at the hands of the true hero. If nobody, or few, survived to live the tale and all they knew was "this guy survived what others couldn't", it wouldn't be strange if it wasn't the truth at all.

Man, reminds me of Zenshu and Unio. though he was gonna be annoying and at moments he kinda was but that guy was the realist character in that show and always ALWAYS stepped up when needed. No matter the cost to him or his feelings on things.

I think Dark Souls was a typo. They ment [Devil May Cry 5] where you fight the endboss in the opening sequence and if you somehow manage to win , you get the instant credits roll instead of having to play through the game before facing em again at the end of the journey (even though DMC is no RPG)

To be fair, it's a pretty logical move. Clevy-chan has just received confirmation that his enemy has attacked him. It was Toah Book Bullshit directed at this minion, meaning, His enemy has visibility on him and has made the first move. Clevy-chan could continue the stealth approach, but he's inside enemy territory and knows that his adversary knows he is here. So, he basically just said 'I know that you know that I know, let's stop pussyfooting around and settle this." He's seizing initiative so he'll know when and where hte next attack will come from. As it stood, he was fumbling in the dark, had already been stabbed once, and had no idea when and where the next dagger would strike. He went from being at the mercy of the enemy assassin to controlling the terms of engagement, effectively usurping "home field advantage" in the process. It was a rather calculated and decisive move.
