ようこそ実力至上主義の教室へ 4th Season 2年生編1学期

So far, Amasawa definitely feels the most sus out of all the first years we've seen. The White Room student could still be Nanase, but she's too straightforward to be one. Amasawa is more sly and manipulative, and even Kiyotaka is starting to suspect her. They're doing another deserted island survival game? Didn't they already do that in their first year? I'm sure it's gonna be different from the first one, but the author seems to really like sending these kids to deserted islands.

Amasawa's scene at the door from this episode was like something out of a horror movie, and I loved it! Although I didn't like that she interrupted Kei and Ayanokoji's possible kiss. Suzune joining the student council is an interesting thing, though I'm disappointed we didn't see anyone's reaction to it, especially since it looks like a big deal to me. From last episode, the acting director said the White Room student they planted was good but didn’t follow the plan he set up. Could they have strayed away from that plan because they wanted to go for the bounty ? Also, Ayanokouji followed Horikita to the student council room to gauge Nagumo’s reaction to see if he had anything to do with the bounty. Can’t say I saw much of a reaction so either he doesn’t have anything to do with it or he’s a very good actor. And speaking of Nagumo, he seems to have a tendency to call people by their first names. I’m assuming this is a trait of a charming personality but I also think it’s a way to project his authority

One of the things I had forgotten about Ayanokouji and Kei before starting this season was that they were dating, so seeing Ayanokouji initiating a kiss has me very surprised lol. I kind of want to hear more of his thoughts about that, if it was his scheming side or his actual feelings, like I want to know how he's processing it all.  Did Amasawa bring a box of condoms? That is crazy lol. And it's funny how the school bans illicit relationships but that's procurable. Unless I misunderstood, but it feels like it was strongly implied contextually.  I'm glad it seems like Ayanokouji's friend group is still going strong after that reveal, I'm sure it was upsetting for some of them. I do like how Sudou had Ayanokouji's back, but I'm glad he called Ayanokouji out for still trying to pretend even though Sudou was involved in that incident.

Welp, we're going back to the cruise ship and lone island survival test. Its Season 1 Electric Boogaloo all over again. Ayanokoji rizzing both Ichinose and Kei in the same episode, and he would have scored a kiss with Kei had Amazawa not cockblocked them. Amazawa continues to be a mischievous gremlin, engaging in catfights with Kei as well as teasing Ayanokoji into wondering if she's the White Room spy. So Nagumo does seems to be the one who's been offering the 20 million point bounty on Ayanokoji, as he's the only student with the power to amass such a wealth of points. I've completely forgotten that Nagumo had "recruited" Ichinose into his ~~harem~~ student council as condition for ensuring no one got expelled from Class B last season. Now the creep thinks he's also got Horikita to join his harem. Can't really blame Keisei for being quite pissed that Ayanokoji is hiding his academic ability right under his nose all this time when they've been in the same study group for over a year.
