Unless the author has a crazy plot twist, I think it's obvious who pushed the students off the cliff, but knowing this show, it's best to wait. Koenji is really on fire, dude took it so seriously he wore questionable swim trunks to get the best possible performance in swimming. When Ayanokoji spoke about graduating without regrets, it was very clear how Tsubasa felt; it was what she wanted to have someday, although I don't think it will change her plans, it's something that could influence the future. Well, the final scene basically reinforced what the first year is all about, snake eating snake, let's see what will become of Kushida.

Kouenji is the needed comedy and manservice for this series lol, his scenes left the strongest impression. I guess we won't be seeing Kouenji and Ayanokouji go all out on each other for this test.  Ayanokouji saying Nanase might not be an enemy is interesting, he still hasn't gotten a firm grasp on her yet.  I'm really not interested in Shinohara and Ike's romantic development. The mystery part has my interest though, especially with the person Nanase was chasing appearing to be Amasawa. I wonder if that is a red herring and she was just around at the wrong time.

Guess the plan by Nanase's teammates Hosen and Amasawa in attacking Shinosaki's group (no doubt under Tsukishiro's specific instructions) is to force Ayanokoji to waste considerable time and resources into figuring out how to ensure Shinosaki's group don't finish in the bottom 5 and thus get expelled, from which Nanase will then make her move. Though it also looks like Ayanokoji is purposely moving around aimlessly (including avoiding a straight-on rope-pulling duel with Koenji) and exhausting Nanase so she would be too tired to do so, plus some psyops by planting doubt in her mind saying he doesn't see her as his enemy. Its worth mentioning that Ayanokoji hasn't been idle in allowing Tsukishiro to toy with him either. At the end of last season, Ayanokoji has been advised by Director Sakayanagi, Arisu's dad who Papanokoji and Tsukishiro managed to get suspended in order to stop him from protecting Ayanokoji from White Room's interference, advised him to seek out Arisu's class teacher Mashima-sensei as an ally within the school faculty (besides his own sensei Chabashira) to help take down Tsukishiro. And this episode we see Mashima-sensei providing Ayanokoji with some vital intel regarding Tsukishiro's movements. The part with Tsubaki and Utomiya trying to extract intel from Yagami is intriguing. Since Yagami has been way high on my sus list among the new 1st year students.

Of course Nanase is not an enemy to Kiyotaka. She's a total date partner for him. Even Ryuuen agrees with this. A very "kouhai" thing to do, Nanase... Buffy doesn't mean strong in Kiyotaka's meta but Koenji just proves himself to be eligible for that by being equal to Kiyotaka. It's only matter of time before Koenji fulfill his bet with Suzune. She's asking to be attacked here... So not even Nanase can beat Onodera in swimming, eh.

Tsubasa's very cute. I hope she doesn't get expelled. I like how Ayanokoji's mentoring her, in a way. Is she really is more tired than him or is she just pretending? Koenji and his aura are hilarious. Tsubasa just being utterly baffled by him was great. Now that he's #1, who's gonna dethrone him? Nagumo? Or Ayanokoji at the end? RIP Kushida's #1 Fan getting choked out. I wonder if he actually told the truth about her to 1-C or factored that into his plan. Then there's Ayanokoji's plan to save Ike's waifu. And Ichika who apparently assassinated her team. Komiya entrusting Shinohara to Ike was funny.
