Best episode of the season for me. Everything was great from animation, art to Direction. And every character have there own reasoning of what they are doing.
And Am I crazy for finding maria as a character more interesting in Anime more than LN and manga.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's a bit more conplicated than that.
First of all, Rimuru's takeover of Falmuth was pretty much an open declaration of war. It sent the clear message of "either join us or be conquered." King Edward didn't want an open conflict with Tempest after all, yet with an intervention with Falmuth's internal affairs and civil war, Rimuru pretty much got rid of him to make Youm king.
The other thing is that the idea that Rimuru is dangerous isn't exactly Mariabell's alone. It is something related to Granbell's (or Granville's) ambition.
Granbell is a retired True Hero. For someone to awaken as a True Hero they have to be righteous and selfless, they have to be pure at heart. He genuinely wants the better for humanity. Mariabell was entrusted with his will, she is his successor, meaning that her Greed is put to use for the same, ultimately good cause.
Rimuru on the other hand is a Demon Lord. Unlike Granbell, he is an unpredictable element. If he didn't care about humanity, that would be one thing, but the fact that he does makes him a risk. His views and ambitions could change, especially as he will live for tens of thousands of years, if not forever after all.

Writing-wise shes fine. Her motives are solid, and her power is terrifying. But the episode basically made it clear she's not the main antagonist and is easily thwarted by Rimuru and his OPness. Haven't read the manga, but I am hoping there's more to it than that. She just seems kind of boring and pathetic now.

Really good episode, finishing the council segment and we also got more Rimuru funny faces. And I gotta say, the way Glenda described the way Mariabell gets rid of her pawns… that was very eerie.
And we can see a bit of her reasoning behind her actions, it makes sense yes.

I really enjoy slime for all these exploration of 'politics' and all that stuff because the main character isnt human.
Maribel makes a good point. Whos controlling Rimuru if he suddenly stops being nice. The fear is always there. But that can be said for her and humans too.

Is this the first time that it's been revealed that Glenda and others on Mariabell's pawns are summoned from another world besides Leon's own summoning, people like Shizu?
Also some people are summoned like Hinata, that from the looks of it doesn't have a proper summoning like having a (*magic circle*) like how Leon summoned Shizu.
And when Veldora said to Rimuru that summoning other-worlders takes several (*Mages and Days*) to have a ritual of summoning even one and like Glenda said in this episode their Soul are bounded by a curse so that they can't defy their Summoner. But She kinda appeared in thin air like how Subaru did.
I'm assuming that Shizu's students were summoned properly like her because Yuuki said that the kids were summoned by different nations. Also like the 3 other-worlders from Falmuth.
I'm an Anime Only since S1, I rewatched it from the start before this Season. So If i forgot things that the Anime already addresses kindly say. And If in the Anime left out some things from the Manga or LN, I would appreciate it. Don't say spoilers though and If the things that are left out by the Anime is a spoiler then also don't, thanks!
And I've heard that the Anime is taking a little different direction that's why Fuse) (*The Author*) written this Visions of Coleus ONA not just for the Scarlet Bond Movie but as a part of World Building. Also heard that Characters from the movie appeared in the Manga, so i think Fuse if cooking something in the Anime.

アニメは原作と少し違う方向性らしく、作者の伏瀬が『コリウスの夢』を映画『スカーレットボンド』だけでなく世界観構築の一環として書いたって話も聞いた。映画のキャラが原作にも出てるなら、アニメで何か仕込んでる可能性は高い。考察くん

I think learn about summons being used as weapons from Veldora back in the cave early s1. From Yuuki in s1 when Rimuru visited the academy, before meeting the kids, about the consequences regarding their magicules killing them if not addressed in time. We also learned about the three otherworlders from Falmuth in s2 (how they're being forced) to do what their summoners want them to do.

It was established as a thing with the otherworlders from Falmuth. A curse that binds the summoner's will to the summoned. We don't really know how it works cause we don't know how summoning works but it was established as something that happens. The summoned children didn't get the curse cause they were seen as failures and not worth the effort.

"Maribel" is a real, more common Western name, so the original name was simply localized. Japanese doesn't distinguish between L vs R for foreign names, so “bel” vs “bell” vs “belle” are all valid writings for the same Katakana ending *beru* in the name *mariaberu* (マリアベル). As for *mari* vs *maria*, again, it's just to make it more natural to westerners. Same thing that happened with Ludora vs Rudra.

I didn’t fully follow Raphael’s logic in the interrogation scene. I get that Rimuru can sense the greed in people’s souls, see that it’s on the same “wavelength”, and connect that back to the greed he sensed at the festival. But, how did we go right from that to Maribel? I don’t think we’ve even seen Rimuru hear about her, let alone anything about her influence or power. Was there something I missed? I’m anime only (for the moment), so was that just cut for time? Like, some/all of that info could have been in intel briefings from Souei, so it’s not altogether unreasonable. It’s just a bit of a jump in logic.

Shuna was granted the access to holy magic and became a "Holy Priestess" was after Rimuru became a demon lord, she didn't have access to said power beforehand.
It was said in the series that the main reason she's able to use holy magic was because she believed in Rimuru as her "God" just like how the reason Hinata and the other members of the holy knights believe in their "God" Luminous aka Demon Lord Valentine.
The same applies to Adalman, who originally lost his ability to use holy magic after being betrayed and losing his faith in Luminous, only to then regaining access to Holy Magic once he switched his "God" to Rimuru.
