Three of the most dangerous demons in existence, who have lived since the dawn of time, and Rimuru just gave them S-tier incarnations and names. Letting these beings permanently manifest in this world, and at greatly increased strength. Along with an entire army of their strongest subordinates, similarly empowered. Everytime Deeno turns around, Rimuru gets more jacked subordinates.

I think it also has to do with no one telling Rimuru who Diablo actually is, since we only know because of Guy or because people encounter Diablo and realize what he is. Even Raphael's explanation is just a general assumption that all 4 of them are in the "dominant class", which includes the Ancient demon category that is over 1000 years old. This is one of the funniest "mistakes" Rimuru made that I have been excited to see animated.

The Ultimate Skill Beelzebuth has a subskill called "Food Chain", which originally used to belong to the Orc Disaster. Rimuru acquired it by devouring the Orc Disaster back in Season 1. Food Chain has two effects that work in synergy to make Rimuru's power grow exponentially: Provide: Rimuru can grant skills he possesses to his Named subordinates if they are compatible with the Skill. Furthermore, whenever Rimuru's power grows, the power of his subordinates grows as well. Receive: Rimuru can use skills belonging to his Named subordinates. Whenever the power of Rimuru's subordinates grows, his power grows as well. Furthermore, Rimuru said in the anime that the mass Naming was made easier by the use of the magicules present inside the pods, and even by doing so, it still took him a couple of days.

There's that, but also, he uses patterns or sequences to help out a lot with his naming, too. If I remember right, when he was naming the orcs, he was using names sequenced like "Group Number Sex." He split up the orcs into a bunch of groups, labeled each group, numbered each orc, then marked them as either male or female. Ended up with names like "Mountain 1M" or "Wetlands 23F". Goblins were named with the prefix "Gob-" plus some combination of Japanese syllables afterward. Haruna was pretty much the only exception here. I don't think there was a pattern for the demons, so it's likely that Raphael is absolutely keeping tabs on names for him at this point, but that definitely wasn't always the case.

It's the opposite. Veldora is happy, remember how much relief he got when he could finally release the magicules in the dungeon? That isn't even his actually body, that is a clone body Rimuru connected to his actual spiritual body that is inside of Rimuru's ability. Rimuru can directly tap into Veldora's actual spiritual body, while Veldora is limited by the soul connection. Veldora being a true dragon is on a different level of power from demon lords. Also Rimuru not only has Veldora, but also Gaia's soul as well. So it's safe to say Rimuru's magicule reservoir and generation is beyond anyone's comprehension other than Raphael

Yeah, I think people forget how absurdly powerful true dragons like Veldora are supposed to be in this setting. Like, he's on another level even from True Demon Lords like Rimuru (Milim and Guy being the exceptions because they were already from an exceptionally powerful class of beings even before becoming true demon lords). Veldora only ever got beat because he was overconfident and lazy because he was born so tremendously powerful he never had to try to be a menace to practically everything else

And yet after all this, Rimuru still isn't aware that he has four primordial demons in his service. That's a majority of all primordials in existence, with the other three being the red/green/blue trifecta lead by Guy. Remember, Diablo was just some "random demon" that Rimuru summoned to dispose of a few (more like 20,000...) bodies... that was more trouble to chase away than keep. As far as Rimuru is concerned, Diablo is just a rowdy goober that does good work... so long as Rimuru keeps tight hold of his leash. Man, Elmasia is going to flip when she realizes Rimuru went and 'hired' three more of the 'worst' demons in existence.

In some way though, Raphael could kinda be considered an alter ego of his that he heeds (regardless of whether that is factual or not). For all intents and purposes, it truly is him that is competent and capable, seeing as it all occurs within him, his body, his soul, his skills. It makes me think of real life cases of split brain patients, where the two brain halves stop being able to directly communicate with each other, but still operate the same body and perform most tasks fairly seamlessly, to the point you wouldn't know it was "two different consciousnesses".
