Jokes aside, its wild if you actually think about the influence and power Rimuru and Tempest already have in this world and most people just don't know about it. He is not just a demon lord, but a true demon lord. Veldora and Milim are some of the strongest beings in this world. On top of that he has befriended Ramiris, now Dino and Guy also seem to have taken a bit of a liking and interest in Rimuru. He is also in good terms with Luminous and Draguel kinda as well, who send his sons over there to train. Frey and Carrion are also on good terms with him, Carrion especially. He also has one primordial serving him, with soon 3 more joining. Lets not mention all the other races serving under him, in the tens is not hundreds of thousands. I'd argue if human nations would actually be aware of all of that, not a single one of them would even think for a second to antagonise him. Even with most other demon lords minding their own business, Rimuru already could wipe out entire countries if he desired so and there would be absolutely nothing anyone on the human side could actually do against it.

But in all seriousness it really does a good job of feeling unique while also accomplishing all the stuff an OP has to do (good music + teasing the characters/fights/mysteries/dramas that we'll see this cour). I came here straight to post this: the new OP FUCKS! More than anything, I am excited that the focus is on Shizu! She was supposed to be Rimuru's 'soulmate' and has been largely absent from the narrative after that very strong introduction back in S1. But with how Shizue-centric the OP was, Hell, that appeared to be Shizu in the ED as well... Oh yes. Oh FUCK yes, we are finally getting more Shizu stuff this arc!? Hype, son.
