Does “phrasing!” exist in this world? Because dude, Juzo, phrasing lol. Thankfully Tenma’s Blue Lock level soccer skills took bro out before things got worse. But man, poor Juzo can’t catch a break. Noren just had to wake and see him first thing lol. Bro’s paternal spidey senses were tingling and he couldn’t shake the “ick” factor of it all haha. Well, after all the dust has settled, I guess Tenma and Juzo have made new friends. School’s definitely gonna be livelier than before.

I love how all of the explosions is giving Noren one heck of a weird dream. It is amazing how she's still sleeping during Eiji and Tenma's fight. Godfuckingdammi, Juuzo! Just when Eiji and Tenma are coming to an understanding, you just had to open your fucking mouth! But I guess Eiji going on a rampage ended up helping them since he's too focused on Ogami to notice Tenma winding up for his killer shot. The worst-case scenario has finally happened! Poor Juuzo! The dude is feeling maximum ick now that Noren has fallen in love with him. Honestly, karate chopping Noren was the wise choice there. She is coming on to him really aggressively. 😆 Welp, I guess Tenma is now in on the secret. I do think it will help Juuzo moving forward now that Tenma knows his secret. At least Juuzo now has someone at school who can cover for him when he needs it. Normally, it's a positive when the MC's relationship advances with the FMC. Not the case with Juuzo! Dude is gonna have to avoid Noren until Kazuma shows up to undo the hypnosis on her.

I like how Eiji and Tenma were able to connect with one another through their shots, I'm glad Tenma wasn't susceptible to the hypnosis, I think they're likely to become friends once the brothers transfer. It also would have sucked if Tenma forgot about his first date with Chitose too.  It's nice that someone outside Juuzou's world actually knows he's a hitman, but his true age still hasn't been revealed yet.  Juuzou actively grossed out by Nouren being seriously in love with him because of the hypnosis is amusing. I wonder what she will remember once the hypnosis is undone, I feel like there'll be some remaining feelings within her.

Yeah starting with the dream was crazy confusing. After a second I realized what was going on but I thought they put out the wrong episode at first. Edit to add: This is even funnier now because Crunchy fucked up Agents of the Four Seasons releasing an episode of End this Love Game instead (but with Agents subtitles) so it isn't impossible if CR had access to an episode ahead for it to be a fuckup lol.

This show has been pretty good with the blend of action comedy while straightforwardly addressing the blaring topic that a huge majority of people would question. The idea that as hitmen they should be going to school, so they can look forward to different avenues of work is actually both smart and pretty wholesome of a thought. When you put it that way. They're just doing a job they landed and only know about, but doesn't mean they can't still change to something else.

Noren really must have ramen on the brain to be dreaming of having a ramen shop IN THE MIDDLE OF A WARZONE. Won't anyone think of the soldiers!? Although the explosions from Tenma and Eiji's fight probably helped on that front. I love how Ogami really needs to be mindful that this relationship chart doesn't get to Gamers! or Rumiko Takahashi levels. Tenma's a good sportsman. He makes sure he and Eiji stay hydrated while acknowledging that Eiji's golf skills are legit. The respect is also mutual, especially since Eiji CAN think and express himself (with writing!) but he's too loyal to his brother and to the possibility of restoring his mind to not put his all into this. Ogami showing up and making it sound like Kazuma is dead definitely doesn't help though. Is a gyro shot practical for soccer? No, but in this instance it's the perfect move for defeating Eiji! SUPER GYRO SPIN SHOT!!!! And thus were the Rindou brothers defeated! What better way to distract Tenma from asking very legitimate questions than the fact that Noren saw Ogami and falls in love at first hypnotic sight to the point of becoming a lovestruck schoolgirl around him...and Kazuma showing up in Chisato's outfit. Ogami's an assassin, he's probably going to Hell one way or another, but there's a special kind of Hell for guys who take their daughters' trying to marry them seriously. Better avoid that like the plague, Ogami. So much for hypnotizing Tenma, he's just built different. But even if he does discover he's dealing with genuine hitmen...that's no reason they can't go to school like normal kids. Morally he thinks they shouldn't kill people, but that's why it's all the more important they attend school and find a better path forward. Looks like we're not done with the Rindou brothers since they'll be transferring to their school soon, if only because they're still banking on Noren being able to restore Eiji somehow. But all's well that ends well as our heroes return successful to Chisato! Ogami's priority is studying right now so he'll even brave having to deal with Noren like this if he has to. He just has to avoid her! Should be easy enough, right?

In love Noren is almost as aggressive as Botan Kamiina with booze in her, good grief. Someone last week suggested showing her a mirror so she'd fall in love with herself and I'm now sad that didn't happen, but this was always the most likely plot outcome since Juzo is a sane adult and doesn't want a middle school kid after him romantically. Wonder if the hypnosis stuff is going to cover the final 3-4 episodes or if we'll be getting next episode handling it as an epilogue of the prior arc and a 2-3 episode arc after to finish out the season (not sure if this is slated for 12 or 13)

As expected from the last episode, the Rindou brothers are not truly vile people. Seeing Kazuma begging for Eiji's life made me tear up just a little bit as it shows that they have submitted and accepted their way of life, which is now far removed from any sense of normalcy and peace that they once enjoyed. Tenma may not be a hitman, but he sure could become one anytime he ever wanted with his insane physique and skills. The fact that hypnotism did not work on him, which even worked on Ogami, could suggest that his mental fortitude is simply on another level, which does make narrative sense since he has dedicated his life to being a triple threat in the sports world. Again, I am not belittling Ogami's willpower as he has clearly trained hard to be as skilled as he is, but we do have to remember that he had many insecurities in his life, which could have weakened his mind. Back in the first episode, he had doubts as to whether his estranged relationship with his daughter could have been different had he showed more care towards her. "I can't tell who's the adult and who's the kid." This line from Ogami captures his uncertainty of his future and is experiencing a new sense of normalcy that could eventually make him waver about returning back to his old life. I also really liked how Tenma is just built different and rationalizes things in a different perspective compared to regular people by encouraging not just Ogami, but also the Rindou brothers to attend school. What's great about this scene to me is that we know Tenma is not just being considerate and pandering them, but that he is simply saying what he truly believes since we know he is terrible at social cues. In the span of these two episodes, I've really grown to like Tenma's character a whole lot more.

So the dude whose brain was messed up so much that he can't speak can write just fine. Of course she wakes up and sees MC >_>. Why doesn't he at least tell her the truth about the hypnosis? "Please mind rape my comrade here to protect my secret." "I can hypnotize anyone instantly." "OK, undo the hypnosis on the girl!" "Ain't got time for that, so I'll just leisurely walk away now." Anyway, allowing the mind rapist to go free while leaving the girl mindraped to love MC pushed this show into drop territory for me.

Ooh, tsukemen. Why is it a warzone? Oh, that's her dream lol. Guess she's not up yet. Right. He's back. What's his plan? With the football? Right. That's that dealt with. And so he's the first person she saw when she woke up, so she loves him now. She hugged him! Indeed. And so she almost said that before he knocked her out. Oh, that guy is back. And so now they're going to talk to him. Yeah... Oh yeah that would work. Or not. I suppose it is. And so he's going to help. Crikey! It's the rozzers! Right. Time to get out of there. And so, they're all reunited.
