I think almost nobody answer you because they thought it's impossible for an anime fans don't know Conan. It's character from manga/anime: Meitantei Conan / Detective Conan. This series is super popular since 90s and have huge fanbase in every country. Basically the story is a high school detective turned into 8 years kid by evil organization. He then solving cases happened around him in hope to find clue to the organization. If you curious, you can find some Detective Conan movies in Netflix I think. I don't know if the series itself still available.

“It’s even more delusional than Japan’s low birthrate countermeasures!” lol what a line. I did not expect Juzo to become an adult again. What the hell even triggered his temporary change? If he can revert back without an antidote, that’s actually a good sign. Means there’s more than one way to cure him. I’m looking forward to seeing Juzo beat the shit out of these two brothers. Time for him to unleash that paternal rage! lol

Chisato, give Tenma a chance! He truly loves you and Japan is in dire straits with romantic relationships as it is! This really is assassin Conan. Can fake his voice and periodically changes back into his adult body when the plot demands it. Best thing to ever happen to Noren was fake dating a guy who is secretly a middle-aged assassin projecting his daughter onto her. Which is a sentence I never thought I'd type.

Tenma being so pure and happy to be on a date with Chisato was so endearing, I like that she's warming up to him. He's going to become a better person with her around. I am concerned about him joining Juuzou, assassins aren't going to hold back or care about his body.  Juuzou returning to his adult body was such a surprise, it seems like Nouren's interest in him may have triggered something? I wasn't think we'd get to see his original body any time soon, so that was very much appreciated since I like his look and voice.  Nekota pointing out Juuzou not being composed is a little concerning, it seems like his guard and edge have been dropping without realizing because of his school life. Hopefully whatever he's gained in the process balances makes up for it.  I do like that Juuzou actually said he sees Nouren as a daughter, he's going to be so protective of her in these duels lol.

I swear Tenma looks like he's as tall as Wembenyama during some scenes lol. Who knew there'd be an actual romantic pairing worth shipping or rooting for that isn't the MC (whose real age belies his appearance anyway)? Chisato still has a lot to teach Tenma tho when it comes to basic human compassion, but that's also why they work and are unassumingly cute together (and not particularly feel forced). Best girl meets bad boy if I had to describe them in as few words as possible. New enemy/competition is basically Frankenstein and his Monster brother lmao. Ogami just went back to being a kid with no fanfare whatsoever, like they skipped a scene or something, was honestly a bit disappointing.

Juuzo arriving at the double date as if he had to run to the office on a weekend to grab important documents is pretty funny. The dude is giving away so much that Noren is starting to figure out that he's really older than he looks. 😆 We're going full-on Detective Conan this episode with Juuzo's sudden transformations and even using a voice changer device to hide his age. I love Juuzo's side comment about the device and how, at least it's not a bowtie. So, turning into a middle schooler has definitely started to change Juuzo. As Nekota have pointed out, Juuzo could've just walked away and pretended to be a stranger , but instead he started panicking and went with the worst solution instead. I could've understood Tenma's reaction to the kidnapping if he had told Chisato that there was nothing else they could do, but he just straight up said he only cares about Chisato and doesn't care about Noren enough to help. Thankfully, Chisato was there to scold him and Tenma is self-aware enough that he wants to learn more from her. We finally get to meet the Rindou Bros , who suspiciously resemble Dr. Frankenstein and Frankenstein's Monster. Hilariously, the older brother is looking for a bride for his little brother , which kinda confirms the theme they're going for. 😆 Seems that the older brother didn't read Tenma correctly and thought his offer would make him leave and make Juuzoi fight on his own. The dude just ended up upsetting Tenma even more and made him more motivated to fight! Let's fucking go, Juuzo! Time to show them that you never mess with an angry dad!

I now have this conception that Eri had to basically hard carry any romantic vibes during their relationship because her ex clearly has no idea what he's doing at any age lol. Honestly it's kind of funny that he's aware of Conan because that implies that this trained assassin, at some point, either watched/read Detective Conan. Tenma really needs Chisato in his life to prevent him from becoming a psychopath. I love how Juuzo had to keep questioning whether the older brother was actually alive and not a zombie and if a zombie could actually have a successful marriage when all he can do is grunt lol. A real man doesn't need to cheat to win the heart of the girl they love. It wouldn't be worth the effort otherwise.

Ogami's got to keep his skills sharp even in his younger body! Even if he's still only half of himself in his prime...but he's still pretty dangerous, as Nekota can attest. Chisato probably never expected she'd have to ask two of her club members to participate in a double date, but Tenma's so effusive in his love and affection for her that she eventually had to give in and give him ONE date and she can't do it alone! So she needs backup from our favorite fake couple. But it's worth it to see Noren dressed as a famous celebrity trying to be on the down-low, Chisato in casual clothes, Tenma coming to a date like he's hitting the gym, and Ogami in...business casual. Because of COURSE that's what he'd come up with. Despite that, though, they all end up more or less having fun on the double date and hanging out with each other! And recognizing how much Ogami is like a middle-aged man! The girls even get to spruce up the boys' wardrobes. Chisato can't deny it! She's actually having fun on this date! Meanwhile Noren is still trying to make sense of Ogami...so perfect timing for him to transform back into his adult body and make himself scarce! They have the voice-changer! This really is Conan! But I guess this works out for Ogami, now he doesn't have to worry about keeping up appearances and trying to live out the life of a middle schooler. It was ridiculous to even expect him to do so in the first place. Too bad Noren gets kidnapped AGAIN and forcing him to get involved. Though not without doing his bro Tenma a solid and letting him hug Chisato tight! Tenma only cares about Chisato so Noren getting kidnapped is no big deal, but if he wants ANY chance of Chisato returning his feelings, he's got to start acting and reacting like a normal human being. And if it's for Chisato, he'll try! In his usual blunt manner. Welcome back, middle-school Ogami! Well, that was short-lived! But perfect timing for him and Tenma to take on the Rindou brothers! Members of the assassin organization JARDIN! We have the hypnotist Kazuma (Shoya Chiba!) and the patchwork possible zombie Eiji (Yoshiki Nakajima)! Ready to engage the Ogami and Tenma team in the most dangerous game of golf of all time. No way is Ogami going to let some smart-mouthed middle school assassin hypnotize his adoptive daughter into marriage!

Curious how often the story is going to pull "I'm randomly an adult again." Is it going to become more frequent until he just stays an adult? Also how did no one notice a guy on a bike transform into a kid? And when he went back to adult mode he passed out first, yet going back to an kid worked differently? I feel like the 'mechanics' of this are not very consistent right now... If you want a plot device to make things harder at least try to have some logic to it so it isn't purely author whim. I'm glad the story is humanizing Tenma in a way that retains his old characterization but expands on it through being down so bad for Chisato. She's cute and loves home ec things, best waitfu unless you want servants doing everything for you.

TENMAAAAAAAAAAAA Zero brakes on that man. Very gratifying seeing love make him better. OL Chisato looked great. They have an absurd height difference; seeing Tenma tower over everyone is hilarious. The girls taking Juzo and Tenma to fix their outfits was hilarious. Juzo nearly blowing his cover is crazy. How'd he even transform back? The new assassins are real pieces of work. No way you're gonna marry Noren off to Frankenstein!

So...This is basically the same kind of series as Detective Conan, right? A drug/poison that makes the subject younger and he's guarding the people around him. Now, we even have the episode of reverting to the older body for a moment and using a device to change his voice. This series seems to be worth watching, but let's hope that there's an actual ending. That's Conan's biggest problem: having a premise that's only suitable for one or two seasons, but having over 1000 episodes.

Huh. Who's that he's engaging in a gunfight with? Oh they were just training? For his own sake? A favour? Ah. With that guy. That's quite the bunch of outfits... And so they're on their double date. Uh oh, what's happening to him? Uh, he's back to normal? And so he's going to go save her. So, that worked for them at least. And so he's back to that. Hypnosis? Ok... Golf? Ok... Explosive golf balls? So, help is on the way. Or not. Damn. He got away?
