I thought it was leading up to Tenma developing a crush for Chitose, but I didn't see a blush on his face so I thought maybe I was wrong, leave it to him to just straight up ask her in front of everyone to go out with him because he wants to be with her forever, I like the honesty.  Ryou's reaction was so funny, I didn't know master could have that kind of expression on his face, family life is going to be interesting for them.  I did find the match to be a little underwhelming, I thought there was going to be a bigger clash, but I did like seeing Juuzou having fun. I saw it coming, but I respect Tenma being able to admit defeat in order to keep himself safe rather than pride, there's no reason for him to risk injuring himself greatly in this match.

I originally started watching this because the OP and ED are bangers. This episode ramped up the fun though. Also watching the home ec president break when asked out by a Unicorn was fantastic. Meanwhile I was hoping to get Noren's thoughts after hearing the conversation in the rain, I hope we get that at some point.

Home ec prepares you for everything except a sudden love confession from out of nowhere. I feel like it's not romantic interest so much as Noren just really wants to know what Ogami's deal is.

Juuzo looking like Conan with the glowing glasses and preparing to kick. That has got to be an intentional reference. We actually got a little bit of Shin's backstory. It turns out he has an actual reason for having that pacifier. Glad to see Shin pulling his weight even with the pacifier handicap. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but he's great! Let's fucking go, Juuzo! Dude clashed with Tenma so hard that it actually made Tenma forfeit out of fear of injuring himself. Love how Chisato is lecturing Tenma when she was the one who ordered Juuzo to destroy him last episode. 😆 Tenma might be a dick, but at least the dude knows when to apologize sincerely. And the dude knows who the true best girl is! Tenma better watch his back tho, Ryou isn't just gonna let him hit on his sister. Also I love the Demon Slayer reference. 😆

Is it just me or are they setting up ShinxYamoaka? She was the one who got his tragic pacificer backstory and it felt like she was almost trying to shill him to make Noren give him the lap pillow he wants. Honestly a pretty legitimate reason for Tenma to give up. It would be one thing to go all out and risk serious injury to win a decisive match in a major sport, but it's not worth it in a casual futsal game. Ogami's resolve really had defeated him in every way that counted. Tenma might be an arrogant, conceited, sports freak but I can't hate a man who knows what he wants romantically and shoots his shot. Farewell confident and cool beauty Chisato. Hello flustered blushing mess Chisato lol.

Shin got the shit battered out of him during round 1 and he still stayed in. This guy didn’t break any bones. It wasn’t a serious injury at all. Kid was talking all that shit and they make a show of him going “all out” just for him to quit the moment Juzo gets a tiny bit serious? Bro was just warming up! It just feels like some weak ass shit to me. If dude didn’t want to get injured, he should have challenged the Home Ec club on their home turf and done a cook off or something.

It's the Home Ec club vs Tenma Tendo with their honor on the line! But even a numbers advantage isn't going to make much of a difference against a true superman athlete...but luckily they've got two trained assassins on their team who can hold their own against him. Shin without his pacifier is basically useless as anything other than a goalie who will sacrifice his pretty face by standing in place and taking balls to the face. But what a surreal sight to have all his female clubmates running to bring him his backup pacifier and talking about how his pacifier is his connection to the only memory he has of his mother. And then we've got Noren throwing the pacifier to make him turn back into "Battle Mode." What even is this game? Ogami has renewed his joy of playing sports and competing! The kind of enjoyment he couldn't get out of being an assassin and lost sight of while he became numb after killing numerous people! But now he gets to put his all into something in earnest without having to worry about anything! Tenma never wanted a rival to bring the best out of him...I mean, he practically IS the best and doesn't care about friendship or companionship in his way to the top. Even Ryohei, his childhood friend, would want nothing to do with him if not for their past together. But Tenma can't resist finding an opponent worthy of unshackling himself and going all out against. But when it comes down to a true test of strength, Ogami wins it! And Tenma can't compete any more because Ogami, in winning their clash, hurt him enough to where he can't risk a serious injury for fear of not being able to compete in the sports he prioritizes. So the Home Ec Club takes it! Tenma doesn't care if he's popular, but receiving Chisato and the Home Ec clubs' kindness and empathy as they support him with his injury means a lot to him. Enough to give them an earnest and sincere apology! The Home Ec club IS Legit! Well, Ogami is now popular with all the sports teams and Chisato is now popular...with Tenma who confesses and asks her out. Dang, he IS a straight shooter! And he turned Chisato into a blushing, flustered, mess! And Ryo into a violent siscon. Ogami is clearly proving that he's more than just a middle school student, and there's only so long he can keep up this ruse...but he's enjoying himself so he'll just enjoy his middle school life for as long as he can have it. And at least Tenma had the decency to try take care of all the attention Ogami was getting so he's free to study again.

LMAO at poor Shin facetanking those hits. Tenma had great moves, but he still got schooled. Interesting how he surrendered out of concern for his future while Juzo won thanks to losing himself in having fun in the moment. Tenma just wanting better dudes to school instead of a rival or acknowledgment was hilarious. 10/10 ego. Him immediately getting oneshot by Chisato's care and confessing to her frame 1 was perfect. LMAO at Shishou bringing out the shotgun shinai.
