Ngl I've got huge respect for the band continuing to play after Harugon appeared. I mean, come on. That's gotta be any metalhead's dream concert right there. There's nothing more metal than an accompanying Kaiju roaring over your music. At least until she crushes the stage in pursuit of her crush, but is that not too metal? Also, ominous aftercredit scene. Looks like Uncle Kotaro has already sniffed her out! On the plus side he seems to care about Kuroe enough to not sell her out to the JSDF, but her mom has some explaining to do.

He knew about Kuroes condition, so the moment Harugon showed up in her neck of the woods of Tokyo he probably already had suspicions. He may also refer to her getting a boyfriend on top of having figured out she's Harugon. The mom also didn't seem overly keen on Kuroe and minamis relationship

I fucking love this show, holy shit. Thursdays are a mess with stuff like Heavy Knight and Overshadowed to Overpowered, but this, Smoking behind the Supermarket, and Dara-san are fantastic. That confession/ask out was exactly what I wanted from this show, and I'm so excited to see where it goes from here, though now I'm wondering how long before she tells him. I thought that was coming here but we didn't get it this episode at least. Fuck this melts my heart.

Rinko & Koutarou Kuroe might not have a dad, but at least she has a heavy metal-loving uncle who also knows about her condition. I do wonder what's up with Rinko and Koutarou's relationship . That is not how two fellow scientists treat each other. There's clearly a history between them beyond their previous work. Considering how Kuroe and Koutarou are attending the concert together , I was worried there was gonna be some misunderstanding. I did have a good laugh at Koutarou introducing himself as Kuroe's boyfriend . At least Kuroe was there to immediately explain who he is to Arata. Although you really can't blame Arata for still getting jealous. Seeing Kuroe having so much fun with someone else was definitely gonna put some doubt in his mind. I mean, she wasn't even showing him that kind of smile when they were on their date. Spree Killer continuing their performance even after Harugon shows up was pretty goddamn metal. They really kept performing until Harugon tried to smash the stage. I kinda hope we get to see more of this band in the future. The sudden panic when Arata thought that Harugon wanting to talk to him was all in his head was so fucking hilarious! He's lucky that Manatsu was there to distract Harugon. 😆 I absolutely love this shot of Harugon holding Arata and the scene with Arata and Kuroe at the end. I am so happy that we actually get to see a confession scene and that Kuroe accepts it! That after-credits scene tho. Yeah, it's pretty obvious that Koutarou knew Harugon and Kuroe are the same. Like, come on. The dude is not stupid, especially since Harugon's features are pretty similar to Kuroe's claws, horns, and tail.
