Can one childhood friend lose though? At the end of Season 1 I thought Chisa's friendship with Iori was improving, but since then there's been like no growth and she says she isn't into anyone at the mixer. Meanwhile Aina actually likes Iori and Sakurako has the best banter with him. Oh also the fake boyfriend thing is incredibly selfish if you think about it. Iori draws the ire of other dudes and can't pursue a real relationship because Chisa and (with some assistance from Nanaka) doesn't want to face reality herself.

Sakurako's reading might not be a surprise but her reaction to it was more adorable than it had any right to be. Honestly feels like they're starting to lay on some evidence that she's into Iori: Last season she was all aggro towards Chisa. It might've been her just being her usual bitchy-self but it seemed pointed towards Chisa knowing she was Iori's "girlfriend." She immediately questions what Iori and Chisa were up to together. She got busted for being into SOMEONE in that room. She makes sure Iori has to answer the question of if anyone in the room was his type. When he says he's attracted to multiple women, she takes note of it even if she tries to act casually.

Saddened to see the departure of the Dolphin staff but on the other hand we got the return of the scumbros who'd stop at nothing to tear each other down. Iori nearly puked from the sight of them having the times of their lives. Iori did well to game the lie detector but unfortunately overlooked a being that's 200x worse than an electric shock. He must've preferred the shock (or even the additional Chappy hammer) than whatever atrocities Nanaka had subjected him to.

Prof is a menace leaving the lie detecting nutcracker to them like that haha. He just believes in their potential to make the most of his work and dish out their own punishments on each other so he doesn't have to! That mixer was hilarious. God bless the idiot brigade. I swear Kohei and Iori’s boys have like 1 brain cell among them lol. The best part is when Kohei and Iori both were united in a shared desire to murder the rest of them like Mitarai's girlfriend obviously murdered him.

I love the way Iori got knocked out when Kohei showed that hot photo of Nanaka and Azusa and if you look close you can see him trying to buy that from Kohei for 500 yen while still holding his crotch from pain 😭😭🔥 The lie detector was Another fine invention from the Professor. Iori bringing that into the Mixer was a great idea. Mixer 2 turned out to be even better and way funnier than Mixer 1. Ofc those virgins went for Azusa over Nanaka 'cause Azusa-sama loves them all. Busujima couldn't beat the lie detector, haha. Iori tried to play it off but got caught by Nanaka by trying to play smart LOL It's been a long time since I laughed so hard. The scumbros are back! Doing what they scumdo best! Nojima claiming he banged his tutor in his teen years! Mitarai claiming he was popular in high school! All of them practically acting like they've always been popular! The only solution to all this lying? RIP Kohei and Iori's balls, through no fault of their own (well, other than Kohei using sexy sleepy Azusa and Nanaka). Yamamoto is similarly undone by his own inability to confirm his lack of popularity. Honestly I could MAYBE spin Mitarai as being popular...with just his girlfriend. But a fan club that's not human? Do cats love him or something? Nojima thought he could with spinning the truth...and he too got his balls busted. There was never any winning outside the satisfaction of breaking the balls of cocky liars. But I guess at least they proved the faults in the machine! With no teacher supervision. Oh no! Iori's been caught at home with nee-san! That means he has to set up a mixer for the scumbros! But Yuma won't let ANYONE hit on his nee-san unless their name is Kaito Ishikawa! What happens when you mix the scumbros with the legitimately attractive female cast in a mixer? Even Rie is there, because she knew Mitarai was going to show up and wanted to get ahead of him so she could let him know personally how she feels about him cheating! RIP Mitarai, Iori tried to save you. But in her place is none other than SAKURAKO! Who picks off bantering with Iori and telling it like it is, no matter how harsh it is, like she never left! And consoling poor Chisa for being stuck with Iori. Poor Aina getting stuck with YAMAMOTO thinking she's into him. Honestly their best bet might be Azusa because she seems down with anyone half the time, but it's finally time for party games! For the sake of porn! A liar game over who your type is/whether your attracted to someone in the room! The scumbros thinking they have a chance with Nanaka and Azusa not knowing Nanaka is in love with her sister and Azusa plays for both teams but prefers Nanaka. Whatever Chisa has with Iori doesn't seem to factor into her saying she's not into anyone. Aina obviously has her crush on Iori. But SAKURAKO gets caught in a lie that she's not into anyone there...could it be Kohei? Or someone else? What a wholesome moment with the Scumbros and their Titan faces! Time for Iori to systematically kill all of them via electrocution right down to shoving their faces into the machine! Using Azusa's cleavage to get to Fujiwara is absolutely devious. I can also believe Iori is attracted to multiple women...but that seems to touch Aina and Sakurako most of all. And Nanaka, who does NOT like the idea of him having feelings for anyone other than Chisa! Iori can never win. I guess Kohei was the final winner because he's the only one who got to bar hop with all the ladies! And he's probably the one who least cares about it! The irony!

Episode 8: Mixer, Round 2 Did Crunchyroll change its subtitle again? The English sub typesetting is kinda inferior in this episode. You have to rewatch Season 2 Episode 7 to get the flashback what Charpy Impact Test is. Polygraph detects change of heartbeat pulse and breathing among things, so Iori being shown the Azusa-Nanaka photo by Kouhei and Fujiwara being tricked by Azusa's bouncy boobies is to provoke that change so the polygraph shows "lies". Aina's first mixer with the scum bros was done in her cakey makeup (see Season 1 Episode 5) so aside of Kouhei and Iori they won't recognize Aina. It's very diabolical to invite Chisa and Rie to the mixer! Woohoo Busujima is back!

I didnt understand what Iori lied about with the picture. Nothing. Seeing that picture just raised his pulse due to horniness and the device interpreted the raised pulse as a symptom of him lying 😆. Now for my question, what was the lie detector actually reading? It was basically reading their pulse to see if it quickened while telling a lie. Thing is there are also other ways to raise the pulse as we saw Kohei and Iori exploit.
