I... I don't think I can wear these shirts in Germany or neighbouring countries... lol yeah, I think it's best not to. 😆 I had the same thoughts when I checked out the page earlier. Liked the design and then noticed the text under it and noped out. Displaying any of these specific symbols is even banned over here. (with some exceptions such as in educational context) I didn't know En's crew even had a specific title, but maybe it was just chosen as design for the merch.

Good luck getting En's devil tumour back from Kai. Huh, the hairpin actually does something other than give Ebisu brain damage. Natsuki's magic turning her into the Michelin Man is so random lol. Aikawa flashback. I think it's showing that Kai is a separate thing from Ai Coleman? Ai's bloody hat was on the floor which means the headless figure is Ai himself. Only Kasukabe could resist being tempted into Hell by a hot devil mommy. Nikaido eating Asu's devil meat is kinda messed up. So Risu doesn't actually know that Aikawa is Kai, but he knows something is up. Cross-eyes Nikaido! She's probably gonna brawl with Curse Risu in the mansion next episode.

Saying they can get En back just by retrieving his devil tumour, having Noi heal his body, then use Kikurage's magic to bring him back to life is wild. It basically further enforces the concept that nothing is ever set in stone or impossible in this world. Normally this happens because of some deus ex machina lazy writing bullshit. But not this story, Dorohedoro has been woven together in such an interesting and comprehensively chaotic way. It. Is. Peak.

So from what I can gather, next week's episode will bring us to a little under the half way point of the story. I would really love to believe that this show gets two more seasons but I feel so much time has passed and interest lost from the general audience. The lack of advertising certainly didn't help. It's a damn shame because there is so much effort in the production. I'll probably pick up the manga to support it in some way though.

This show was a passion project from the beginning, never getting an anime during the near two decades it was publishing and only getting its first season after it has finished. When the first season was announced fans were shocked it even got an anime in the first place, and for the longest time it was seen as a series that was nigh impossible to adapt. I don't think this series will ever be mainstream but it's been a certified cult classic for a long time now. Fans of Dorohedoro tend to really like it.

I fear Natsuki unlocking her magic may ultimately put her in Kai's crosshairs. If there's one thing we know about the Boss at the moment, it's that he's a power-hungry mofo who doesn't really give af about anyone so Haru's the best and I can't believe I forgot all about that. She and Kasukabe are just so perfect for each other. Definitely go find yourself a woman who would literally go to hell for you and back--and invite you to go live in hell with her

And so our crews of serial killers clash, man seeing Chota so withered away from hunger was hard, and worse yet was Natsuki getting maimed by Ebise. Man I fear for this girl, Kai wouldn't kill her for her magic would he? Man it's so sad seeing Aikawa and Risu just being together, knowing that Kai probably is just waiting to switch and ruin everything. Who is he actually? Like you can see Ai Cooleman in Aikawa and Caiman, but you also see Kai's hatred for sorceress in Caiman. Haru undoing whatever magical mess that deaged Hayes with a single move was sweet. What are the chances Nikaido does actually turn into a demon? The only step she neglected was not producing smoke for a specific amount of time. It seems we once again converge in the En massion.

I was worried the whole time that something bad would happen to her, but also at the same time I didn't want them to get Kikurage. It's rare seeing a show where you have conflicted feeling for characters from both side.

Human Haru Stitch Yoooo! I did not expect Ebisu to transform into a Devil! I guess that Devil Hairpin getting lodged into her brain ended up paying off! Natsuki unlocking her magic is also a surprise. Very interested to see if this will change her dynamic within the group. That scene between Kasukabe and Haru, tho... Doc's wife is so goddamn hot. I would've folded instantly and stayed in Hell. 😆 We have a Nikaidou training arc! And glad to see Asu all healed up and looking normal again. Next episode is gonna be interesting with Nikaidou, Asu, Aikawa, and Risu all converging at En's mansion.

Aw, poor Kikurage. Ooh, Natsuki supposedly has good magic? lol, Turkey didn’t know Sho’s name either. So there’s still a way to bring En back , but… good fucking luck getting the devil tumor back from Kai when he already implanted it in his own head. Oh what… Well, that’s a big ouch for Natsuki. Her magic! Oh… I’m pretty sure you’re way past that point, Aikawa. Oh, Hayes is back to having an adult body again. … but he doesn’t want it? Yeah… Oh boy, Nikaido’s using her magic. And now people are converging on En’s mansion?

Lol Haru turns Kasukabe into his original form, then jumps on his lap and invites him to go with her. I can't blame, he looks good in his original body, it's too bad he doesn't feel comfortable in it anymore.  Ebisu projectile vomiting when she saw En's head was so funny to me lol.  I was surprised to see the next episode is the last for this season, this looks like it'll end with a bang at En's mansion.

I considered a recap too a few weeks ago because I felt a bit lost in the plot, but since I've watched s1 only once back when it aired, I ended up rewatching the whole season including the first episodes of s2 as well. This really helped a lot for getting immersed into the story again and with further knowledge of S2 events, many earlier things that seemed a bit disjointed or even random made a lot more sense as well. I would recommend rewatching everything after next week if you like the series.

no i for sure should, like its been soooo long since i saw season 1, that when i started season 2 i was like wait what, whose this person, why is this happening haha. Ive filled in the gaps with what i remember and what the characters are saying but the fact that a lot of whats happening now is supposed to be mysterious and shrouded in misdirection im like super confused. if you have a link for the recap i appreciate it!

[edit: sorry for the kinda double comment, my first comment was suddenly gone earlier and I assumed I refreshed the page before sending it] At this point I would even recommend to rewatch the whole thing if you like the series because it's such a wild ride. lol (Next week is already the last episode of s2.) That's what I did a few weeks ago because I felt too lost in the plot and also only watched s1 once back when it aired. Many smaller things that seemed disjointed or random at first also made more sense with new s2 knowledge.

I caught up a couple weeks ago after bingeing both seasons and it’s only gotten more confusing and chaotic but I’ve loved every step of the way! I just think they released it at the worst time because it seems the show went under the radar for most people but the quality is so good that I hope with a strong word of mouth, there will be enough hype for S3 We need that so badly! There isn’t really anything else like Dorohedoro…

I'm crossing my fingers for a season 3 announcement next week, but I'm still keeping my expectations low for now. Season 1 was already quite niche, so people who didn't watch that naturally wouldn't check out s2. And even those who did most likely didn't remember all the details necessary to fully enjoy the wild ride. It also releases on Wednesday which is quite stacked, especially with ReZero being vastly more popular currently. I lovingly call it "double mindfuck Wednesday" because both series have crazy shit happening. lol

Everyone's heading to the mansion! This is fine! So fine! Little heartbroken and scared Kikurage destroyed me, and poor Chota. While I haven't been the biggest fan of the new laughing Ebisu, her going berserk and getting a more powered up skull devil (?) form was great. And Kikurage immediately recognising and going to her! I wasn't expecting Natsuki's power in the slightest, and I imagine Natsuki wasn't, either. Shou has really been the MVP for saving so much of the En family, and no one remembers the poor guy. Damn. The world of Dorohedoro truly is a cruel one. Even though Aikawa and Kaiman have similarities, it doesn't seem like Aikawa has his memories at all - though he knows something is wrong with the headaches. It didn't click until this episode that the headless body in Aikawa's nightmares must be Ai. Ai wants Aikawa to go to Kasukabe? And Risu playing the long game for two days with Aikawa before understandably cracking. I will say, in a show that has had a lot of nightmare fuel, Asu offering Nikaido his own devil meat was the worst, oh godddddd. The head, why.

Every time i think i know where the story is gonna go, it reminds me that i dont know shit. Im glad Risu had enough brains to not just try to kill Aikawa. He knew something is up. Kai lurking in the shadows of his own mind to get the most out of Caiman, Aikawa and Coleman. Who killed who? Who spawned first and why? Nikaido almost created a portal or something similar and then she gets turned into Chad Crosseyes all of a sudden. My boy En still has a chance good to know. Pretty sure we're about to see a three way royal rumble between Nikaido, Cursed Risu and Dokugan only for Kai to crash the party in the last minute.
