FINALLY! SOME GEAR 5! I just like seeing Luffy change color. Gear 5 action is purely optional. Also, the fact that one of the new characters has the white cloud band around him makes me think he's going to be similarly ridiculous/interesting as Nikka. But my favorite part of the episode is the VA of the blonde trousers knight (Sommers Shepherd), same VA as Kinjou from "Yowamushi Pedal". I don't come across him very often. Any episode with Nikka is a good episode.

So it seems like the Abyss is the between points of the pentagrams the celestial dragons travel through and travelers need some sort of mark to use it. Don't know what they need the kids for but since theyre not marked they'll have to find a new way back. Food shortage is very real for the world nobles though. Im surprised they dont seize food and travel through the abyss with it but at the same time theyre probably too proud to think they should do that.

Luffy goes easy on Scopper in his attempts to take the key, because he knows that nobody and nothing in existence can handle the full extent of his greatness and badassery. He makes it look like he’s struggling, but he could take it at any time and he allows Zoro to get involved in the game as well to make it even more fun AND FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THIS ARC, WE SEE THE ONE, THE ONLY, MONKEY D. LUFFY, AKA STRAW HAT LUFFY, AKA THE FIFTH EMPEROR, AKA THE GOD OF LIBERATION, AKA THE GOD OF DOMINION, AKA THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION, AKA NIKA, AKA THE SUN GOD, AKA THE NEXT KING OF THE PIRATES, TRANSFORM INTO FIFTH GEAR, AND HE’S ABOUT TO USE HIS AXE FOR THE FIRST TIME, BUT SCOPPER RUINS EVERYTHING BY SURRENDERING THE MOMENT HE GAZES AT THE MAJESTIC NATURE OF LUFFY IN THIS FORM WITH THAT DRIP ON! OH MAN, I REALLY WANTED TO SEE THIS IN ACTION, BUT I GUESS WE’LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO PICK A FIGHT WITH THE ONE AND ONLY… We learn that in the past, Shanks asked Gaban to interact with Luffy and make his judgment, so this day was long coming… but still, I WANTED TO SEE LUFFY USE THAT AXE IN FIFTH GEAR! Back at the Walrus School, some kids see a strange bird flying, which happens to be Gunko and Shamrock, who summon two more Knights of God, and those two being Saint Sommers of the Shepherd Family, and Saint Killingham of the Rimoshifu family, and apparently, Shamrock will be going back because there’s stuff going on in the Holy Land. The mission is to capture some of the giant kids, and let me tell you, THAT AIN’T HAPPENING BECAUSE THE STRAW HATS ARE HERE! DO YOU REMEMBER PUNK HAZARD?!?! THEY KICKED CAESAR’S ASS AFTER WHAT HE DID AND HE WILL DO THE SAME TO THE KNIGHTS OF GOD, SO THEY MIGHT AS WELL LEAVE BEFORE THEY PERISH! I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE ONE PIECE!
