Yukiya likes high DPS characters...Miku might need to starting grinding milk instead of League. I'm glad the author made Miku just normally attractive without every single one of her features being praised every second like a certain other romcom . One of the reasons this is among my favorite romcoms is that her and Yukiya are more or less on equal standing in pretty much everything, it's not another "average guy chases the unattainable flower girl for 4 seasons straight before the confession" iteration (or vice-versa).

Miku's bond with Yukiya stems from him being there for her after her gradnma died. That's a bond that's irreplacable for sure! Miku's starting to feel insecure in her efforts to reach out to Yukiya. She's not sure what he wants from her. She's done the whole glow up thing and it worked, but now he's just teasing her back. Why won't he do something to her?!? Don't worry though, Yukiya was totally just describing Princess Floral's enermous Firepower, not her ahem, chest! Well here's the thing. He does want to do it, it's just that he's seeing things through a shojo lens. You have to mess around with the girl and fluster them first in those manga. But at least now she has a better understanding of what to do! First, they'll eat dinner together! Just like a family would! Thanks for the idea, Wakana! But of course Yukiya would want to be near her cooking. Now they get to flirt together there too! And now they're being sweet before dinner! Aw... With Miku having rushed out and forgotten her keys, she can't come back home! Oh no! It looks like her childhood friend has an idea though! Come back and sleep over with him!

Yukiya, always there to comfort Miku, even when they were little. Someone she can count on to comfort her. True 97% of Shoujo manga protags get together, but a considerable high percent of them get together as soon as the story ends. And Miku would probably rather have a nice case of You and I Are Polar Opposites or Blooming Love with a nice lengthy time of being a couple together thank you very much. You'd best start believing in Shoujo Manga's Miku. You're in one! Someone's got a steamy imagination. I'm not hoping for that kind of thing to begin with! Well would you be opposed to it? Kids it's wholesome childhood bonding time. Brought to you by rich chocolatey ovaltine. She wanted a chance to play out a "Parents not going to be home tonight" scene, and the universe provides. I'm just surprised Wakana ain't just sitting there watching them with a bag of chips or something. They're off in their own little world enough that they probably wouldn't notice. But what fun, an impromptu Slumber Party!

They may have said anything goes with the Love Game, but since that day at the library they've both become less aggressive and more shy around the other because while their brains have made said anything goes, it seems like their hearts did not. There's tension now that there wasn't before. They're both afraid to do something that they think will ruin things. I think one or both of them is getting close to breaking. It makes sense would be make sense that Miku and Wakana would be friends considering she's suffered through watching watched them play their game for years now. What I didn't expect was that Yukiya got his "brilliant" strategy to use shoujo manga from Wakana. I thought he was something he just came up with himself. I guess Wakana has decided that after multiple years of suffering leaving them to their own devices of not doing anything themselves despite being so down bad for each other, the fastest way to the end of the game is through it. So she stepped up her wingwoman game for them and got Miku to come over. Though I think might regret how well it worked lol. I liked Miku's outfit this episode as well. It was cute.

Miku and Yukiya are childhood friends, so it's not surprising she would have stayed over at their place for a sleepover...but when Miku was still feeling the loss of her grandma, Yukiya was there for her (and Wakana, because he's a good big brother!). That's when her feelings for him started to develop. Meanwhile, in the present day, both of them are back to their teasing while sweating and in gym clothes, though Yukiya is holding himself back from being TOO aggressive with Miku for fear of bothering her...even though she WANTS him to be aggressive. Has she failed in her girliness? Sorry Miku, Yukiya likes 'em big! In DPS, that is! Your hopes and dreams are in your cuteness and charisma, if not in your chest! Imagine getting relationship advice from your future sister-in-law who knows you two are just idiots who should just confess already. Though now you can see why Yukiya is the way he is because Wakana also subscribes to Shojo manga as an undisputable relationship bible and now she's got Miku convinced too. I mean, their relationship has basically been following Shojo manga since episode 1! Ah yes, the classic "staying over at your crush's place" plot. Perfect opportunity to tempt Yukiya into pouncing on Miku in bed! Not that Miku is some tramp, no sirree, she just totally wants to hang out with Yukiya. That the siblings' parents are away just makes it more convenient. Can you beat the sight of Miku in an apron offering dinner, a bath, and...Splatoon? Yukiya can barely contain himself! And she's there to cook for HIM! And the apron REALLY makes her look cuter, though Yukiya was straight up imagining her naked apron style and acting like he was going to feel her up. Aw, look at them romantically cooking together! Miku was basically adopted into the family when she was left there by her mom, and Yukiya treated her to the hot cocoa and companionship she really needed as a kid. Though it was only when she did the Love Game and said those three little words for the first time that she actually realized she WAS genuinely in love with him. How convenient! Miku's mom locked their house and she forgot her key! Looks like she IS staying over for the night! The Love Game is heating up!

That's funny that Wakana saw Yukiya creepily ogling that video game character's breasts then showed it to Miku. Miku is clearly desperate since shes asking Wakana for advice, who seems poor at it and just gets stuff from manga. You'd think Miku would realize it's a bad idea when she thought Yukiya acted weird from ideas in romance manga but maybe she thinks thats how he thinks. When they showed Miku watching the Youtube video about the love game when she was younger, I wonder if that made her start the game or if it was ongoing and she was looking at videos for advice.

This is the best episode so far. She went w/ League instead of wa-ta-shi. She's gonna stay the night. So Wakana influenced Yukiya to use shoujo manga as reference due to it collecting 50 years of love history which is relatable. A pigtailed Miku holding a leek, dye her hair blue & her last name would go from Sakura to Hatsune. So Miku fell in love w/ Yukiya also in middle school. Extra cocoa for some crunch sounds nice. I'm surprised Miku didn't comment on Yukiya's ripped bod & abs.

I really like this series but they kinda overdid it with the flashbacks, more then half the EP were flashbacks that had almost no impact. Gave me infinity castle PTSD. Anyway these two are mega cute, and i can understand being young and uneducated in love and romance. Having the game is a good excuse to be more intimate but it also makes it so that they may perceive each other as less interesting and that loosing the game means they will stop having an excuse to continue to be intimate. I feel bad for them.

So, she bought water for him. Ok... So, she's talking to his sister about it. Boing. Shoujo manga indeed. And so she's imaging them spending the night together. And so, more flashbacks. She's always wanted to do that hasn't she? Lol that last one. And so she's cooking. She hugged him! Or not. And so she's going to stay a while. Missed calls from her mum? She forgot to lock the door? Oh, she forgot her keys? Guess she's staying at his place then.
