Very true. I’m fairly certain they exceeded the portion size of pocky. Not that anyone can stop from eating the whole box, even if you’re not using it as an excuse to make out with your childhood friend you’re actually in love with. I am a bit worried how much she tore herself down after. They’re both at the point where they need to admit their feelings. I do wish he was a little better at complimenting her rather than defensively lashing out as he has done in previous episodes. Though I know that’s part of their teasing banter habit they’ve gotten ingrained over the years. Didn’t realize until this episode how truly insecure she actually was.

I'm just binging the anime while also quickly going over the discussion threads inbetween the episodes. First I just chuckled about your comment in the previous thread but then I cheered when they actually did use the whole box! That was just great! I also felt the production team commited everything to that scene which was a treat because many parts of the other episodes so far looked kinda wonky.

At the start of the episode, I was thinking the kind of tension they had making out during the Pocky game would’ve been better built up and placed near the end of the episode. But then I thought the week long wait for the aftermath would’ve been torture. It’s crazy though how much they think the other isn’t into them when everyone else just see an unofficial couple Also Nacchan the ever so adorable

The problem with playing love chicken is sometimes you run into each other face first, and then to be sure you do so about 20 more times over the course of the late afternoon. Unfortunately they're both still idiots so even after a 30 minute plus or so makeout session they are still uncertain about it all. It's a shame Yukiya didn't describe in just a tiny bit more detail what happened to his advisors at the cafe since their reactions might have been hilarious.

Sometimes a kiss is an accidental brush of the lips. Sometimes its a little peck. Sometimes it's forcing your lips onto someone else...and sometimes it's just holding each other tight as you give in to your feelings and kiss as hard as you possibly can. I feel like the main thing they're both hung up on is how, even if the feelings behind the kisses were genuine, the problem is Miku's reason for doing it and how she's torn between her desire for Yukiya and her desire to be cute.

It's a shame Yukiya didn't describe in just a tiny bit more detail what happened to his advisors at the cafe since their reactions might have been hilarious. To be fair, I sure as hell would not have gone into detail. It's embarrassing and somewhat personal...to simply open up to them about all that would be exposing both himself and Miku. Humans aren't 100% rational creatures - even though logically we know (and Yukia probably does too) that they can be trusted, there's still a fear deep down.

This feels like the appropriate episode ( even with that extended make-out scene ) to call out just how lonely Miku’s home life must have been. We’ve literally never saw either of her parents around! All she has at home is the picture of her grandma keeping her company. She’s sick with fever and it still looked like neither her dad nor her mom was able to stay with her. Nobody answer the door when Yukiya ringed. Are they even around for her ? It’s kinda insane to think about how lonely the poor girl has been in her life, despite what her school life was like.

The mad Bastards actually went through with it again! And again! And again!! Now they have diabetes from both the sickening sweet kisses and devouring a whole pack of pocky.
