I appreciate the fact that Lock might've been screwed if he didn't get a Holy Barrier assist, showing that even if the premise of the show is him soloing the demon army, having allies with him is still the biggest buff he can get.

That was a nice plot beat. I appreciate even in these overpowered MC shows when there is a bit of power scaling and the enemies aren't just cannon fodder, even if we obviously know Lock is going to win. also appreciate that we got to see Goran, Eric, and the priestess in action and that they're all genuinely competent—this feels like an actually effective hero's party for once where everyone has their role and purpose and are actually reflective of their level.

Sia also came in clutch. Despite the debuff they were under she gave him the opening he needed to get close with a strike even the vamp lord didn't expect. And it was a nice touch that he covered for her back with the magic barrier to keep her attack from becoming a sacrifice. I think literally everyone pulled their weight. Even the Divine Chicken!

I think, given the two states of the high lord, that the one initially 'fleeing' was a clone. It wasn't explicitedly spelled out but given the earlier fight between Eric and the vampiress, it's a thing they can do.

Probably just wants to be independent. Her father has restricted her at every point, first stopping her from adventuring, and then excluding her from the vampire hunt. Luck on the other hand mentored her for her first quest, convinced the father to hand over his sword, and gave her the opportunity to prove herself. So wanting to move out makes sense.

I was a little worried for a moment when Eric was bitten but I had a feeling he would be fine. Great job by Luck & Sia to defeat that vampire. Celliss was also able to defeat a couple of high ranking ones. Interesting ending with that young girl being chased and is now at Luck's place by the looks of it.

I feel like it's honestly the ideal pacing for the power level the MC is at. It's like jjk but the mc focus is from gojo's POV so all fights 1v1 are easy unless your enemies come up with tricks and you gotta do life outside of big fights. They actually get all the things that make an op mc insanelt strong good and not make the rest of the show dog shit. Genuinely some of the best writing I've seen from isekai. Or at least one of the most cohesive since the bar for that is lower than hell

It looks like they blew the animation budget for the episode in 5 minutes. Not a bad choice though since the rest of the episode was dialog-heavy. I agree with the others that the dog is animated very weirdly Even though Sia isn't as strong as Lock, she used strategy to create openings. The battle didn't feel like it was just about Lock. I absolutely loved how they did it I'm thinking if Sia was living with Lock by herself, it might reflect on them. Celliss staying with them would help a lot with that.
