In the first episode, Hikari already demonstrated that she was a cooler girl than she usually appears to be, and this is reflected in the way she dresses outside of school or when she's unhappy. Her inspiration from Yuino and her father's strict manner have had a total influence on who she is today, and in a way, even Natsuki was influenced by her father's decisions. I don't know how Yuino is playing her cards, but judging by how she's become closer to Natsuki, it's understandable why she asked him out; he's is the male friend she trusts the most. Although I believe she won't develop feelings for him in the future, It's a nice and productive evolution of their relationship.

As I expected, the whole Hikari/Uta race is giving me Chinatsu/Hina vibes from Blue Box: A girl who is more forward and pursuing her crush vs The other girl who has restrictions/distracting preventing her from doing more than the other girl. This also paints the rejection the first time around in a new light: Did she really rejected him because she wasn’t attracted, OR because of the restrictions she had due to her father? Because I always believed she gets a bad rep from fans who think she was shallow for rejecting the guy, when Uta and all the other girls in the school weren’t attracted to Natsuki the first time around as well (Miori wasn’t attracted either, but would have wanted to talk/hang out).

Uta probably got the upper hand now and Natsuki couldn't be more conscious of her too. If you like both equally, you know what to do right, Natsuki... (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵) So many Wtf moments! I thought Yuino is chill but she's probably interest in Natsuki\~\~'s D\~\~ too since shopping for a swimsuit with a guy alone surely means something else that beyond friend territory even for whatever reason. Uhmmm...you're too late or more like your chance have passed. Better luck next time, buddy /j Wow, so bold! Su-ki-ma? Hikari in various forms have befall us. I wonder why Natsuki displeased of taking care of his cute 'imouto'?! 'Imouto' is life, 'imouto' is your ally, 'imouto' is your sunshine. He should spoils her a lot fr. Looks like his sweet spot is relating to his company, eh... It's about time she goes rebellious...Hope Natsuki doesn't get reported by that crazy daddy of hers. Welp, he can always use his 'imouto' card though. Just say Hikari is actually hanging out with her instead...

It’s not fricking wonder we seen so little of hikari with a dad like that breathing down her neck story wise it make sense she not involved You know as much as we make fun of natsuki for rizzing And make no mistake he is a rizz lord regardless of his feelings Reita and tatsuya aren’t really making a effort from what we’ve seen. I mean despite tatsuya says he hasn’t given up nothing And reita is the one who push natsuki to miori, not saying that’s was a wrong approach. Was probably the best outcome. But he basically left the problem to be solved by natsuki Letting the problem be solve by someone else And helping them solve the problems are 2 different things And yes I get they were just starting to get to know each other but he should have atleast gone with him if he cared for as friend at the very least And I’m like even on there date reita only talk to her when hikari pulled natsuki Obviously this could be bias cause this is still natsuki story But for 2 of them who likes uta and miori they sure aren’t putting in the effort in the same way natsuki is With all the other girl’s intentional or not

Finally we got something for Hikari but boy I did not expect this. Glad we finally got an explanation for the glasses, most likely she wears contacts or are just reading/writing glasses, her dad sucks and I honestly thought Natsuki knowing who he was might give an edge, but alas no. TBF, no parent would be okay with their child lying like she did. Seems Reita has caught onto possibly Miori's feelings for Natsuki, if he wants her, and I wonder waht Yuino means by "betraying Uta". I did not see that ending coming; what on earth is Hikari thinking running from home like that? I mean I can see why, but even still, does she think she's going to stay with Natsuki now or something. Like I said, we finally got something for Hikari, and the series really played hardball like that

Hikari’s Dad sucks big time especially after seeing that future version of him with him basically expecting to treat grown adults as if they are his young kid. As much as it sucks to say I think the best move for Natsuki is to take Hikari back to her Dad. Based off what we have seen though it is possible that could be dangerous but despite how much he sucks I want to give him the benefit of doubt. I only give him that since it doesn't seem like he is physically abusive to Hikari since we didn't see any bruises on her. I do know technically doesn't mean anything just going with the whole lot armor thing to help Natsuki progress with Hikari and him bringing her back would show he is responsible and not a bad guy to her Dad hopefully. Curious to see how things go a lot can happen because of her running away.
