Really cute episode. The first story being a superpowered preschooler take on those TV shows about sending kids shopping in know Japan has was extremely cute and quite funny too. And the second half, Taiyo should be winning some sort of award with how he talked up his wife during their jog. He and Mitsumi going out on a morning run together is a new tradition they should keep up, IMO. They sure love putting Shinzo and Ayaka together during panning shots and such, I'm freshly convinced they're a side ship mostly happening in the background.

You never have to worry about rando's kidnapping her, at any rate! And the second half, Taiyo should be winning some sort of award with how he talked up his wife during their jog. He and Mitsumi going out on a morning run together is a new tradition they should keep up, IMO. He's a green flag as a dad and a husband, a stellar combination! They sure love putting Shinzo and Ayaka together during panning shots and such, I'm freshly convinced they're a side ship mostly happening in the background. True love is timing how long it takes you to make a gun.

Ai was so adorable running her first errand with Taiyo and Mutsumi following close behind. Reminds me of that old Japanese reality TV show “Old Enough!”before she turned things into Survivorman lol. Sure she went wayyyyy above and beyond what was expected of her, but that's just a sign of how responsible and loyal she is to the family! Taiyo and Mutsumi are killing it as parents! I feel Mutsumi’s pain about gaining weight. I have zero willpower and there’s so much delicious food everywhere lol. Especially when you're a businesswoman where looks are important...and also the wife of a top tier spy where his leading lady has got to look impeccably beautiful.

Ai can see that the entire family is a little moodier than usual and struggling throguh some stuff...well, other than Kengo, he's just got a zit, but still! That's why it's up to her to help patch things up! Even if her efforts just cause Daddy Taiyo to clean up after her, but good on Taiyo for respect what she was going for. This calls for Ai's first proper outing! They can count on her to get pork cutlets all by herself! And her mom and dad are there to watch over her and marvel at how responsible and adorable she is! If only Taiyo had let Mutsumi do cosplay while they were observing her! Oh no! The pork cutlets are gone! What's Ai to do? Well, why not just hunt the pork down at the source and track down the Ooku Buta? Even if that means running around animal style, getting directions, and being followed by Taiyo princess carrying Mutsumi right behind her? What a sweet family. It's good of Taiyo to try to help Ai incognito, even if it's also good of Ai to practice STRANGER DANGER! But in the end, she was able to defeat the Ooku Tonushi and bring it back home ALL BY HERSELF and nothing brings a family together like giant pork cutlets! The moment you can't easily put on your skirt and vest and your child is calling out how flabby your stomach is...you realize you've put on some weight. But I mean, Mutsumi is a professional businesswoman who has to attend parties, is less active than her siblings, AND is a massive foodie who can't help but eat good food and snacks (provided by her husband!). This was the natural result! But Mutsumi is determined to lose weight! If for no other reason than the fact that Taiyo's wife has to be the most slim and beautiful lady! Too bad the other Yozakura Siblings' metabolism are so out of whack that none of their advice can help. I mean, Shion's chugging cola out of the bottle and trying to make Mutsumi indulge in her vices! At least all the sisters can commiserate over hating on Kyoichiro. I could've told you survival games with Shinzo would not work, but neither does Kengo's sauna or Nanao trying to make Mutsumi do drugs. Of course count on Taiyo to be there for Mutusmi and be as understanding of her feelings as possible. He's always thinking about her and always thinking about her makes him happy after all! And Mutsumi is so overwhelmed by Taiyo's love (and hers for him) that she just can't walk any more! Perfect excuse for handholding and getting a piggyback ride home! Diet success! What better way to celebrate than Taiyo swinging around his wife and daughter? Although...that cake might ruin Mutsumi's diet.
