Pretty funny their plan for Taiyo to beat Shinzo was to either traumatize him by exploiting his love for his family, traumatize him by exploiting his childhood fear of bees, or just straight up poison him lol. They even used all 3 options in the end but it was good old fashion teamwork that helped pass that first stage. Last stage is gonna be pretty rough for Taiyo because big bro’s always had it out for him. Curious to see how he’ll make it through and how many of the others will pass too.

The first proctor of the Silver Rank Spy Exam is none other than...Shinzo! Ordinarily you wouldn't think someone this socially awkward would be the right fit, but even in a game of "tag" Shinzo has the arsenal AND his Blooming to be a formidable opponent. What a nice family to happily supply Taiyo with all of Shinzo's weakness to take him down! I mean, no one knows Shinzo better than Shion! She gave him his fear of insects! Nanao straight up wants to poison him with deadly toxins! Thank goodness Taiyo wants to do this fair and square. "Let me sleep with you!" - Honestly Taiyo, I think Mutsumi WOULD say that if she wasn't being respectful of you. Shinzo respects Taiyo too much to give him an easy pass to victory, so he's going all out with Tumeric. It's all Taiyo can do just to lock blades with him. But Taiyo's not alone! He's got all the other spies there testing with him! Even if all those weaknesses that the fam gave him are basically pointless against Shinzo when in Blooming because he can destroy his fear like he destroys everything else! Though he can't really destroy a camera...or his family. Which is how Taiyo secures his win! And for everyone else too, because they at least chipped in! The next test is Futaba, testing "Technique" compared to Shinzo's "Body," and in true Futaba fashion her test involves a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and pleasant vibes...unless you try drinking the tea infused with her aiki and get sent flying outside the testing area. Using force or any common tactic won't help you...but following Futaba's technique and reversing her aiki actually will! Smol Mutsumi was adorable! And lonely because she couldn't bring any friends to her house...but she always had Taiyo who would visit her, even if Kyoichiro "hated" him even back then. Also, Futaba's flashback outfit was S++! Taiyo was there for Mutsumi for years, the only person other than her family she could rely on and enjoy seeing on a consistent basis, especially after she lost her parents. Even Kyoichiro could acknowledge the positive effect Taiyo had on Mutsumi as she became more enamored with Taiyo. And she returned the favor after his families' accident, staying with him and helping him through his rehab all the way. These two were MEANT to be together! Aw, Futaba's crying tears of joy over how far Taiyo has come! She really is such a doting big sister! I'm surprisingly rooting for Jiangshi lady to go all the way in this test! Taiyo has overcome two of his siblings, but of course the Final Boss is Kyoichiro...with him already trapping the test takers in his wires as he sips tea devilishly!
