Leon clearly has a type, and it's definitely not Marie. 😆 Honestly, I love how Luxion calls Leon out for being a hypocrite . Leon did use his meta knowledge to gain the upper hand, so he doesn't really have the right to criticize Marie. Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for these elves. Imagine thinking you're the superior race, but then these two humans and their floating robot come in and connect to your lab's AI to tell you that you're the one who's actually inferior and lab-grown. An interesting take on elves tho! Good to see Leon's shit-eating grin back. Honestly, his new design is actually perfect for scenes like this. It definitely makes him look more like a villain. 😆 I did not expect Luxion to go ape shit because of that arm they got. So I've been wondering about this. The prophecy says that the Saint will bring the ancient demon lord. So were they talking about that arm because that arm has a pretty demonic design. Hmmm...

Hair color is literally the only thing the three of them have in common. I did not expect Luxion to go ape shit because of that arm they got. I found it so funny when he was just babbling incoherently, but came to his senses long enough to point out that he doesn't need to breathe to Olivia.

In fairness, Leon at least does it to right wrongs and fight back against the scummy behavior of Marie and her Harem (even if its because he personally just hates them). Marie's actions basically screwed over Livia and Ange so she could come out on top. Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for these elves. An interesting take on elves tho! Kind of dark that elves are effectively genetically engineered indentured servants who are sentient but still stuck serving their human creators.

Leon also didn't really take anything from anyone. Luxion is an unlockable item you get by paying for it and going to the right spot. There's no guarantee Olivia would have ever found it because it's not a core part of the game. He got an advantage, but he didn't take it from anyone. Marie conversely is trying to take everything from Olivia, dooming the nation, and doesn't even actually seem to like the guys she stole.

Maybe... but I have to wonder what it means to be the Saint. The items reacted to her, so she's recognised as a Saint. Noone seems to have decided if they need to test her competence. All we seem to know (from the anime) is that Livia has insane magic power and is the real reason why they can beat the final boss, whilst the Saint items just enhance her power. In that sense, assuming Marie is much weaker than Livia, then they are all screwed. But again, it's not really Marie's fault if the Temple wants to hand over the items to her despite being weak.

But I do hope they connect the dots and realise they're not just two random strangers sooner rather than later.

Luxion is full of crap there, actually. Leon took a single thing that Livia may have never found (it was DLC stuff), went way out of his way to make amends and tried to put stuff back on the 'proper' path. Luxion himself told Leon he should commit and embrace being involved. Marie here is an unapologetic entitled thief, blackmailer, extortionist, and casually sadistic not to those who have ethically wronged here but been anything other than absolutely perfectly convenient for her. These are not remotely equivalent.

yes that was explained in Season1 and is also the reason why he needs to talk some sense into her as we've seen here. As she let her brother play the game for her (as it was one hell of a difficult game), she probably only watched the cutscene gallery for the most part which makes her lacking in the information department of all the bits and peaces that were explained during gameplay that was not saved in the cutscene gallery, like how we just heard she never found out you need the combination of Olivias personal power and the power of the saint items combined to beat some final boss.

There is a spin off of this main series that explores a different route where Leon catches and convinces Marie before she engages in her reverse harem ploy that has marie as the protagonist. [Early in the Spin off they talked about their memories of their past life] They find the similarities of each other to their former siblings but due to each telling it from their perspective i.e. in their personal truth, in the end, they come to the conclusion that they can't be each others siblings as they don't see themselves in the way the other describes their sibling

Welcome to the adventuring party, Hildegarde! Even if no one really wants you there, but at least you're committed to doing your part and exploring the dungeon. Uh...I guess it's nice that the elves regard their second-class citizen status and being slaves to humans as just their equivalent of a job? This is a homecoming for Kyle, but not a very warm and welcoming one, even when he reunites with his mom Yumeria...who could probably pass for his sister but is still a busty MILF all the same. Seems like she (and Kyle) are ostracized because they're both "mixed?" Elves can't procreate with humans, so I wonder who Kyle's dad is? or what Yumeria is mixed with? Is that why she has green hair? Fortune-teller chief, huh? I thought they would only acknowldge Livia because she's the "real" Saint, instead of Marie just forcing them to acknowledge her whims, but I guess Marie still counts enough. Also, not even a sci-fi Otome Game could get away from the "Demon Lord," even if it was in a side-quest that Leon never even played. I bet Leon's been waiting to point a gun at Marie since he first realized what she was doing, but it's necessary for them to have a loooong overdue conversation about their shared reincarnation and how Marie is messing with the game...then again, so is Leon. It's just a matter of one screwing over Ange/Livia and the other protecting them. Though I don't think Marie fully took his line that she can't fully beat the Final Boss when she's not Livia to heart. Marie flashes back to her past life with her brother who never catered to her whims and was kind of rough with her (if only because he knew her so well), and in the present-day she and Leon echo the same dynamic while ALSO remarking to themselves how much they remind each other of their sibling from their past life. Kind of laying it on thicker and thicker, huh! I love how Ange finally has enough of the Idiot Rangers and tells them off for being themselves and thinking the worst of Leon. Even Livia acknowledges she's speaking the truth, however harsh. Oh no, it's now a Resident Evil game! Only in reality they've stumbled into not the lair of a Demon Lord, but a lab where Elf Supremacists are trying to create monsters they can use to take over the world. The Village Leader is even in on it! But Luxion (and the lab's AI voiced by...Noriko Hidaka?) basically tun everyhting around by revealing to the elves that A. they were created by humans as weapons in the war between old and new humans and B. aren't even as strong as the original elves. So basically they're entire elf supremacy believe is for nothing. And the lab AI has turrets that can easily turn the tables on them and their monstrosities. Though the worst indignity is, as always, losing to Leon who just LOVES rubbing it in! So now Luxion has the lab AI integrated into him and for all their trouble they gain...a metallic arm? Not what Marie wants, but Luxion seems to crash out upon seeing it. Is it some kind of weapon utilized by the New Humans? Something worth turning into a Demon Lord and raining laserfire down on the lab over? Hildegarde also recognizes it and Kyle clocks it too. Next week: The return of Leon's one true love, the queen!
