Also sometimes Oda just frames the panel in such a way that not everyone could get squeezed in. To him (because he has the whole story in his head) it's not a big deal but sometimes he forgets that people take every single panel he makes as law lol. He likes to use in universe explanations a lot of times for these things.

This is why theory crafting is such a waste of time. Just impatient people that need answers before they exist.. all this proves is that panels aren't necessarily definitive of anything in the future and he can change his mind at any time.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but none of the strawhats are in any danger of dying and if you genuinely believe that they might, I implore you to reread the series from chapter 1. If Oda doesn't even have the guts to kill Kin'emon, then he sure as hell isn't about to kill Franky or Zoro of all characters lol.

I just started watching the anime from episode one! I’m pretty sure Zoro would never die and if anything I think Luffy would die before him “like Roger” but i wasn’t really sure about Franky after this pannel lol

Franky is much more willing to go along with the crews more whimsical tendencies than Zoro. Zoro does play along sometimes but usually tries to appear aloof while this moment feels to me like one where Franky would fit in if he did have more of a connection to Shirahoshi. One of his gags/traits is crying when people tell touching stories so he's a little bit of a crybaby himself even if it's always because of what people tell him rather than fear.
