I'm might be wrong, but i think we'll get a lot more in depth about what is a Digimon in beatbreak. The girl knows about codes and talks about how Digimon aren't just glitches, I think we'll get more info why Digimon appears and maybe where they come from?

Well its not clear if its just metaphorical, but Sappotama are designed to bring out your perfec selfe. Because society sucks, and the sappotama orientates on what society consideres your perfect selfe, the result is dystopic. But if the will, and individuality of a person overpowers the comformity to spciety a digimon is formed. Digimon are an act of rebellion against society, and a relationship whit a digimon brings out your true perfect selfe. As the sappotama adverticed. So in universe digimon are a creative solution from an Ai to fullfill its purpouse. That said, there might still be a twist, like the sappotama not creating but rater transfering digimon from the digital world who fit. As an example.

I have a hunch there's going to be a twist at the end of The Gift arc that is has to do with The Mirror World and Tentei Hachibushu. I wouldn't surprise that the plot twist will reveal that E-pulse didn't create the digimons and they once inhabited The Mirror World but the world has deleted it by the World Union. I think the humans captured Digimon to exact their digi-cores for sources of energies to power their Saptomas that lead to Digimon got materialized through the Saptomas with human's E-pulses and has feeding off their emotions because of the lack of their digi-cores. I wouldn't surprise that World Union has covered it up.

She seemed fond of/interested in Tomoro in the key art tho, maybe because he in his own way is a "glitch".

I'm still very curious about the glowing/multicolored eyes in this series (disregarding the ones last week that were due to Mummymon). The Five Stars all have that inner ring around their pupils, which I assume is somehow tied to those crystals they always wear, and this girl's got her own thing going on. Maybe just a stylistic choice, but I hope they address it at some point.

I has been thinking they will might foreshadowing Gekkomon's true mega Tsukuyomon will be like Dan Heng's dragonic form from HSR (I has been playing that game recently). I wouldn't surprise Gekkomon's playing Batman: Arkham Asylum with Chiropmon's help, and possible foreshadowing Gekkomon's dark mega form Atrutusmon.
