Yeah, and his features became generally softer and more rounded. Just look at his eyes. His old eyes had so much personality. They were slightly unbalanced, but being flawed made them stand out so much more. His new design just has standard anime eyes. The same eyes you would find on 'marine fodder no 587'

That's exactly why the Artstyle change happened in the first place. A lot of characters in early Artstyle required more drawing and attention. So they adapted a simpler Artstyle and focused more on shading, effects etc

Indeed, then Wano happened and the quality went up a lot (from what I remember) :). There were some Anime where the animators would change periodically, I don't know if One piece did this a lot but it felt like this for some episodes, especially during combat.

The old animation was WAY more expressive. One thing nobody talks about from early One Piece is the loss of humor. Old one piece is genuinely really funny. I still remember the gag in Alabasta of Aces's "he just died mid bite" "nvm he's sleeping" "oh shit he's actually dead now" gag. Zoro's Tarzan swing through the jungle. Luffy's collateral damage to his crew whenever he would use his powers mid fight.

I was just thinking that about Nami's expression. In the original, she actually looks desperate and panicked, which matches for her first real solo fight against a major threat, with a weapon (toy) that she had no real experience with. She was, historically, a sneak thief; any fighting she did involved stunning and disabling blows then fleeing with the loot, or the use of seduction tactics and sleight of hand to distract her marks. She hadn't really fought anyone like Ms Doublefinger on her own before, that we know of. With the revision, she looks more focused and combat hardened than she should be. It's an expression more at home on her older self, not who she used to be.

I don't think this is the type of thing anyone has put in the effort to catalogue. There are so many episodes that could feature flashbacks to earlier episodes. Also there are no clear limits of what constitutes as "older scenes reanimated", would it count when something is reanimated from earlier in the same arc? Or does the art style have to be different for it to count? What counts as a diffeart style? Or does the reanimated have to have the same exact frames in a new style, or would it count if the same scene was animated again in a flashback but with new angles? How about when flashbacks are shown as still frames? What I'm trying to say is that you'd have to be very clear in your definitions of what you wanted if you wanted such a list to exist, and even then it would be a lot of work to do to compile a list of such episodes.

There was the reanimation of the straw hats getting sent away on Sabaody by Kuma. That’s the first one that comes to mind. I also think there are some parts of marine ford that were reanimated but that might just be in the fan letter.
