lemme explain how this will work. you choose your 1 partner digimon but you also have 2 extra digimon assisting yours, plus cards to buff your mon and so on. these will likely be the gacha. source? i made it the fuck up BUT before you dismiss it, thats likely where it goes since thats always where it goes.

Is interesting they Put Gatomon here but not Salamon?? Isn't that Digimon champion? I know they did that for adventure for some reason. Pheraps the rookie selection is different and this is just for the Trailer to promote it to old digimon fans to it? Honestly I'm confused. edit: I know that is because of the tail ring , but i talk about the game not the anime im confused about the rookie starters.

Maybe because almost every season after Tamers was mid at best and the games never really found their footing until the Story series (which arguably also wasn't good until Cyber sleuth).

I didn't say Adventure was bad, but Bamdai and Toei depend to mucho on Adventure nostalgia to point they relase Adventure 2020 reboot after Adventure Kizuna .

Beyond lame after they’ve teased us with so many cool Digimon in liberator and beatbreak. I’m almost certain there’s a marketing guide for Digimon with a single page that’s says ‘adventure/tamers’ with nothing else.

There's the possibility of the rookies being like Digimon Masters and you get a Digimon with only one line and have to unlock the rest, like an Agumon with the Greymon line being pretty common but one with Tyranomon being rare

Yeah, that's how it was for the past gacha games. That's also how they lock special evo digimon to the gacha aspect (e.g. this agumon can evolve to Omnimon, normal captureable agumon can't). Worse, usually you'll need several copy of the digimon line to max the stats. Damn, now I remember why I didn't continue playing digimon reArise

The support card gacha reminds me of Umamusume so with that in mind, my guess is that it’ll be like a Digimon raising roguelite. You’re given a set of starter Digimon to raise until Mega or something, you roll for other Digimon to raise or support cards to aid you in raising your Digimon. Each “run” will have you feed your Digimon, train, or battle, until some objective is completed. Then you take your fully raised Digimon and assemble a team for PvP hell. Alternatively go back and try to raise your Digimon differently for better stats or something.

I wonder how they would include Frontier Digimon. Do I just have a child that I have to grow in my phone? Or is Agunimon gonna just be some Agumon evolution line
