Yes, i think Toei didn't have the rights to continue the story (and adapt the manga) for several years now, so they worked on a few side projects like remastering the movies while the legal stuff was sorted

Theyre also doing Resurrection F after this. With leakers not really agreeing on wether theyll complete all of Super or stop there Either way i dont think the remake and Moro teams are entirely the same anyways. So i dont think its gonna be pushing Moro back all that much

There’s really no need for a ToP remake. I can understand Battle and Resurrection, but beyond that is entirely unnecessary. I’m sure people will make an argument for Future, but I’m fine with what it is.

The difference is, they can put this one in theaters and milk it for ticket sales, because they know people are going to go and see it regardless.

I understand this dragon ball so nobody cares, but how the fuck is Goku fighting this guy as SSJ on Earth of all places when he couldn't touch the much weaker Majin Buu with SSJ3 and had to go a different planet to avoid destroying Earth as collateral /rant

It's irrelevant how serious Beerus is, if Goku is serious Beerus is at the bare minimum as strong as him and Goku by this point should be able to destroy the Earth many times over Kaioshin's planet had "much stronger rocks" or whatever other bullshit precisely because of this problem
