[**Ascendance of a Bookworm S4**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1siej52/comment/ofjjusn/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) lost a lot of karma, so I'm glad it still made the top ten at 9th place.
On the other hand, it's a bit sad to see [**Welcome to Demon School! Weeks 3 of Spring and we witnessed history.
**RaG** managed to incease its karma from zero to 1195 and to also jump 64 spots in the ranking all the way into 6th. Truly a monumental achievement but not unexpected given how hotly awaited this particular episode has been for years now.
Total karma sadly didn't quite reach 20k and I think it's likely that it won't for the rest of the season.
I do hope the **Nakamura-kun** can get back on the ranking in the long run. It deserves it.

To think **The Ramparts of Ice** and **Akane-banashi**'s leads share a VA. One's an ice queen while one has the hotheadedness of a typical shonen protagonist. Their temperaments are like fire-and-ice.
I say **Nippon Sangoku**'s criminally underwatched. It's a gripping drama with how the two protagonists' philosophies clashed. Likely due to it being a Prime exclusive.

Please give Dorohedoro a try if you haven’t. The cgi character models in season 1 are a little bit rough, but season 2 is an improvement in every way. The art is absolutely gorgeous and the story is only getting better and better.

Tbh the CGI from S1 is a bit uncanny at first. But as S1 works, it fits in quite well. Dorohedoro is a series that any anime fan must consume unless they can't handle Gore.

Well, the manga was surprisingly not popular in the West despite it being a notable presence in Japan. The anime will definitely give it a boost.
The one thing with the Yomi no Tsugai is that the pacing will be true to the manga. Which is familiar ground for people who are familiar with Arkawa's writing with the FMA manga.
Though the people whose only experience with her writing is Brotherhood will probably need to adjust their expectations with pacing.
Nippon Sangoku has had a promising start. Unfortunately, being on Prime, which doesn't promote its anime, is going to hurt exposure.

**Rampant of Ice** is doing okay fortunately. I'm connecting with their story a lot as they feel like real humans. Peak as expected from that author (same as Polar opposites)
**Rent a Gorlfriend** being there is peak jerk. I stopped watching after season 1, but something pulled me towards that episode that day. A strange force. I checked random points in the episode and there it was. The moment where it became Rent a Cuck

Go for it Nakamura-Kun is definitely one of my favorite series airing this season!!
BL or queer anime with male characters typically don't get as much recognition on this subreddit unfortunately. Amongst my friends and from what I've seen online, it has generally been recieved well and I've absolutely loved the adaptation so far. As a fan of the manga, I was a little bummed when they delayed the release, but the wait was well worth it! I'd much rather watch a series later and have staff given more appropriate time to work on it, than a half-assed/rushed adaptation and watch it sooner.
When The Summer Hikaru died was airing, it appeared that people were using bots to downvote the discussions in order to decrease visibility. Even a series like Cherry Magic which has so many qualities people look for in a romance (adult characters, healthy communication, a unique premise, a large focus on character growth, etc.) wasn't largely discussed on here largely due to being a BL.
I'm happy more queer characters have been showing up in anime lately in a respectful way and that general reception has (seemingly) been improving over the years. There is still room to improve for sure, but it has been great seeing how many BL series have received anime adaptations lately!

It didn't make the chart, but I implore everyone here who likes Gintama (or comedies similar to it) to check out **Dandelion** on Netflix! It's only 7 episodes long and was an absolute delight to binge through when it batch dropped this past Thursday.
As for what *did* make the chart, I'm sad to see Iruma-kun S4 fall so far down in placements. Everything else I really like is doing good, though.
