Hermes Trismegistus is unique because it’s explicitly designed to work with Albedo’s special skill to transfer damage. While most armor reduces damage taken, Albedo's setup allows her to negate it entirely at the cost of the armor itself.  The armor is actually three separate suits of armor stacked into one. the first Outer layer is A heavy shell that provides high physical defense. second Middle layer is A full-body armor suit acting as an "undershirt" and the third final Inner layer is A liquid "assimilation" armor that enhances her physical stats. Albedo possesses a daily skill that allows her to transfer all damage from a single attack (even World-tier magic) to her armor instead of her body. Every time she uses this skill, the outermost layer of the armor is destroyed permanently. Since there are three layers, she can completely nullify three devastating attacks per day. After the third hit, she’s Left Unarmored and her defensive stats drop significantly.  And to answer your question I don’t really think any native in the New world could destroy her armor. Most New World beings can barely scratch it with I guess the Platinum Dragon Lord being an exception Possibly? from what I remember Only other Players or beings with World-class items, like the Longinus spear, which can delete a target could bypass her defense or destroy the armor rapidly. However, Since Albedo carries her own World Item, Ginnungagap, she is generally immune to the effects of other World Items.  Sorry to nerd out on you there.

Yeah was gonna say the anime doesn't do the Armor justice. She's the main tank of Nazerick really. Her armor is supposed to be comedically huge because its divided into multiple detachable layers each meant to absorb even a Super tier spell. Basically Sebas is a High HP Bruiser, Cocytus is high offense, low defense, and Albedo a pure tank and they have a RPS relationship... Cocytus > Sebas > Albedo > Cocytus

I wouldn't exempt PDL. In the WN what if that Maru wrote, Shalltear's clothes was in tatters but her magic items was not affected and everything directly under them was untouched by PDL's Nuke. Based on that PDL's Trump card probably ignores data crystal defense but does nothing on high enough quality material. So...Albedo's eyeballs are fucked because of the slit but there's no way PDL is going to break it. If Albedo just stood there and let herself get hit, she'll probably lose hp first.... I can only see PDL breaking it if he's handed the armor so he can take his time pummeling it.

I would assume it won't be able to be repaired once if she use it 3 times in a fight, if it's only used twice she can repair it. But 3 times is a big number in this case, ainz can only use super tier spell once every couple minutes for example. And using her Trump card on weaker attack doesn't guaranteed it would break the armor. It's pretty forgivable drawbacks if you think it through. You might be able to cheat it too, if she knows the enemy going to use their Trump card, she can use cash shop item to change into worse armor and then use her Trump card.

I guess that's why it's so op, I mean, divine equipment wasn't a joke in Yggdrasil. you needed lots of farming to make one, so it would make sense that sacrificing such a time consuming piece of equipment would let you even absorb world items damage, feels kinda of a waste anyways

Also if I remember it correctly, when it breaks, it's designed to be like an ecchi wardrobe malfunction. But when the last layer breaks, it'd show albedo's true form which is said to be very unappealing. It's a layer of funny added to the skill.
