That happened only in WN, and the player just became a world enemy, I dont remember being specified what kind of world enemy, only that he got ganked by the other players and that's about it.

His name is Tsaindorcus Vaision aka Tsa, he is a New World native, the Platinum Dragon Lord, son of the Dragon Emperor. Not many details about the past of this world are directly stated in the light novel. Instead, readers are given clues throughout the novels and side stories and have to piece together what happened. Since the anime doesn’t really touch on any of this, here is the current best explanation of what happened. Over 600 years ago in the New World, Dragons were the only species who could use magic. This was a magic unique to the New World and is now known as Wild Magic. Instead of using mana Wild Magic uses souls to power spells. During this time humanity was on the verge of extinction. Then the Dragon Emperor somehow discovered Yggdrasil and learned about the World Items that could cast magic on the same level as Wild Magic but did not require souls to power this magic. He then used his magic to bring the World Items to the New World. Since he was a Dragon in a medieval world, he did not know about video games and likely thought Yggdrasil was just another world like his own. The World Items brought along the players and guild bases that were under the World Item’s protection and now new groups of players appear in the New World every 100 years. After this only Dragons who had already learned Wild Magic could still use it and pass it on to their children. All other dragons could now only learn Yggdrasil magic. Dragons who could still use the New World’s original magic system are called True Dragon Lords. The first players that arrived in the New World were the Six Great Gods and were the first to use Yggdrasil’s magic in the New World. They saved humanity from extinction and created the Slane Theocracy. However, they all died of old age except for Surshana who was an overlord like Ainz. This is a really good summary, except it kinda over sells how noble Platinum Dragon Lord is. As I remember it, realistically he's a coward who tries to hoard power for himself because he's terrified of being killed by a powerful force like another guild of players appearing. That's why he hides behind the remote armour.  He doesn't care at all about the other races killing each other off as long as they don't start becoming more powerful than he's comfortable with.  In the context of the Greed King's legacy, "the wrong hands" is anyone who is not him or any individuals he is lending them to for the purpose of oppressing the power of others.  None of this is directly stated through exposition, but the writing does give me this impression. It could be a side effect of the translation, but it makes sense considering how both the Platinum Dragon Lord and Elder Coffin Dragon Lord survived the culling.

Something i want to add is that the first players, the 6 gods, are implied to have used a world item, i forget the name but it basically allowed the user to rewrite reality and add rules, to graft yggdrasil's tier magic system and possibly classes onto the new world. Doing this allowed humans and other species to learn magic while also gutting the dragon's wild magic.

I think it's the second group of players, the Eight Greer Kings, who used the World Item Five Elements Overcoming to allow use of Yggdrasil magic from the natives. The World Item itself is speculated by Ainz because its effects are to make changes in the magic system.

How is it possible that I always learn such interesting things on Reddit, even though I have read novels. This feels like a complete revelation of the players mystery to me. Are we sure all players are dead? From where do we know identities of previous players? I have only read original translated series, not side stories. But now I feel like I'm missing a lot.

They also raised the status of humans from being simple livestock to slaves (a big improvement)). There's other mentions of players, but the knowledge is fragmented. Such as "... Maybe. But my personal opinion is that the chance of waking 'she who sleeps in the bottom-most levels of the city which floats upon the sea' would be higher.” - said by Platinum Dragon Lord when speaking to Rigrit in Vol 7. This could be a player or just a really strong NPC since this is likely a guild base.

dont some classes have infinate lifespans if you build it right its based on dnd including Paladins with the Oath of the Ancients, Warlocks with the Undying Patron, wizards using Clone spell, High-level characters can also access the Epic Boon of Immortality, druids and monks get timeless body and live 10 x longer so elves could live for thousands of years

Do we know anything of the deamon gods? I have never heard anything of natural deamons in the new world even tho they seem to exist or atleast people understand the concept.
