Oda does resolve the arc fights quickly after the flashback *(within 30 chapters)*, and major arc combos end in 100/150 chapter chunks *(Dressrossa at 800, Zou+WCI 900, Wano 1050, Egghead+Elbaf 1200)*

I think Oda meant what he said when he wrote this. One thing I like in all shoenen anime is when weaker characters have abilities that can theoretically kill enemies way above their weight class, like Krillin’s Kienzans being sharp enough to cut the Saiyans or Freiza.

Their mastery of implying future things before they normally showed up will be put to the test. The actor *looks* perfect for it, but that’s such an intense ask of any act
