Elbaf seems to be wrapping up soon – Imu is gone, I’d say another 22 chapters meaning done by chapter 1200 in Nov ’26. Oda does resolve the arc fights quickly after the flashback *(within 30 chapters)*, and major arc combos end in 100/150 chapter chunks *(Dressrossa at 800, Zou+WCI 900, Wano 1050, Egghead+Elbaf 1200)*

Buggy will meet Shanks/Luffy first. Least dramatic stakes for the first encounter.

For the “Character’s who’ve never meet will meet for the first time” I’d like to pitch in a Buggy/cross guild will meet Black Beard. Seeing as how Crocodile and Mihawk have no previous altercation with Black Beard and crew it is possible that they could form a temporary alliance. This will be a much easier way to make the pot bigger for the coming final war and making it easier for the narrative to have both crews there at the same time and just have them back stab each other in end game.
