Ultimately, even at the very end, she was a very loyal employee of the government. While she was a personal fan of chainsaw her intention to use chainsaw man’s power aligns with what we see in part 2 with the government attempting to use the power to erase aging for humanity’s betterment.

So, she wasn’t trying to make the world the way she wanted she was just doing her job and a co-worker got jealous.

結局、最後の最後まで彼女は政府の忠実な職員だった。個人的にチェンソーのファンではあったけど、チェンソーマンの力を利用しようという彼女の意図は、第2部で政府が人類の利益のために老化を消そうとしているのと一致してる。
つまり、彼女は世界を自分の思い通りにしようとしてたんじゃなく、ただ仕事をしてただけで、同僚が嫉妬したってことだ。

I don’t believe she was evil in any way. I think she just did evil things out of necessity. Considering how part 2 is just a nonstop shit show I truly believe Makima was the one holding everything together and things were arguably better that way. But she needed Pochita to stop the prophecy and her sisters, so she had to ruin Denji’s life for “the greater good”

I once read a fanfic where Makima made everybody wait like 20 minutes to get into her office. 10 if she really liked them. Just as a way to assert dominance. And honestly…I kind of love that headcanon
